Chapter 24 - Sunny vs. Whitebeard: The Titan of Tremors (part 2)

Sunny POV – Month 3

By the start of the second month, the battlefield looked like a landscape ripped from the edge of reality itself. Mountains reduced to rubble, rivers boiling and reforming, and shockwaves continuously crisscrossing the sky. Whitebeard, still standing with that prime, terrifying aura, gave me that slow, amused smirk.

> {Ego}: Master, do you realize the probability of survival for anyone else in this scenario is literally zero?

[System]: Master, that includes everyone else. Luckily, Master is extraordinary.

I grinned. "Yeah, yeah, I know. But lucky for me, I'm not just anyone."

Whitebeard tilted his bisento, causing a massive seismic strike that ripped the air around me. I activated Space Crunch at full capacity, folding micro-space between the ground and the shockwave. The tremor slowed as if hesitating mid-step. That micro-second of advantage… enough to land a series of Bang + Jirō combined strikes, each blow reinforced with advanced Conqueror Haki.

> {Ego}: Master, do you feel that? The impact? That is literally his life force recalibrating.

[System]: Yes. And Master's Haki is overriding it. Deliciously.

Day 62 – Respawn Comedy

I misjudged a strike and got buried under a mountain of rubble. No big deal—I respawned instantly.

> "Seriously? AGAIN?" I shouted, coughing up imaginary dust.

[Ego]: Master, you might want to stop dying like that. It's becoming a pattern.

[System]: Master, it's hilarious. Heh. I love it.

Whitebeard raised a brow. "You really… like to throw yourself into danger, little one."

I waved, smiling innocently. "It's my style! You'd understand if you trained with me!"

> {Ego}: Master, your style = suicidal genius. Excellent.

[System]: Master = genius. You see? Everyone loves you.

Day 70 – Advanced Space Crunch

I spent hours folding the void around Whitebeard's bisento strikes, creating localized gravity distortions. Every swing, every seismic wave, every air displacement could now be slowed, diverted, or absorbed. This let me land precision Haki-infused punches, tearing chunks from the ground and hurling them like projectiles.

Whitebeard's expression remained calm but focused. "You've improved… significantly."

I smirked. "Improved enough to make you sweat yet?"

> {Ego}: Master, he's already sweating. Subtle but present.

[System]: Yes… yes… delicious sweat.

Day 80 – Comedic Interlude

During a brief lull, I noticed something ridiculous: a flock of birds flew straight through our battlefield, oblivious to the devastation. One bird pooped directly on my head.

> "Really? After everything, THIS is how I'm disrespected?" I yelled.

Whitebeard laughed, shaking the air around us. "Little one, even nature mocks you!"

[Ego]: Master, this is unfair. You are being targeted by birds.

[System]: Master, embrace it. Even birds recognize greatness.

---

Day 90 – Illusionary Torture

I started using Conqueror Haki-infused illusions to create multiple "fake me" attacking from every angle. Whitebeard staggered slightly, caught in a web of Haki manipulation.

> {Ego}: Master, finally, a crack in his defense.

[System]: Yes… yes… he's flustered. Master is beautiful when terrifying.

I landed a strike to his shoulder, then a kick to his torso, followed by a Bang-style elbow smash to his jaw. Blood sprayed, rock crumbled, and I… somehow, inexplicably, lost my hat in the process.

> "Noooo… my hat!" I screamed.

Whitebeard laughed so hard the sky trembled. "You really… care about that thing?"

[Ego]: Master, priorities… questionable.

[System]: Master, yes yes yes. Adorable priorities.

---

Day 105 – The "Cute but Deadly" Combo

I realized something crucial: Whitebeard, terrifying as he is, reacts most to unexpected movements. I combined Air Crunch slashes, micro-space distortions, and multi-angle Bang/Jirō strikes into a chaotic, unpredictable assault.

Each punch looked almost like a child's play, bouncing rocks, cracking earth… but every blow was precise, reinforced by Haki mastery.

> {Ego}: Master, ridiculous. Your cuteness is literally hiding murderous skill.

[System]: Exactly. That balance… perfect.

Whitebeard staggered. A hint of respect? Maybe. But mostly… amusement.

Day 120 – End of Month 3

Three months, including this month, meant I had survived 60+ days of nonstop combat. My body ached, bloodied and bruised, but my Haki—Air Crunch refined, Space Crunch advanced, Conqueror Haki maximized—was better than ever.

I laughed maniacally. "One more down, three to go."

> {Ego}: Master, next: Big Mom & Shanks. Probability of chaos = 100%.

[System]: Master, next: Big Mom & Shanks. Probability of fun = infinite.

I wiped blood from my face, flexed my shoulders, and whispered:

"Time to teach the other emperors why messing with me is a terrible idea."
