Chapter 62 — "Welcome to Logueport! The Town of the Beginning and the End"
Sunny's POV
---
The sea breeze carried the scent of adventure. For the first time in weeks, the Going Merry glided into calm waters, sunlight reflecting off the waves like shards of glass. Ahead, the port city rose tall and bustling—its name painted boldly across every sailor's heart: Logueport, the Town of the Beginning and the End.
Sunny leaned on the railing, eyes gleaming like twin stars. "So this is where the Pirate King was born and executed, huh? Fitting place for legends to gather again."
{ego}: Oh, look at him getting poetic again. Someone frame this moment before he trips over his own dramatic monologue.
[system]: UmU~ He's adorable when he tries to sound cool. I'll record it in HD memory for future embarrassment.
Sunny twitched. "Both of you are enjoying this too much."
Lucy, beside him, grinned wide, wind whipping through her cloud-colored hair. "Hehe! Don't worry, Captain Sunshine! We'll make our own legend here—starting with snacks and chaos!"
Aqua clasped her hands behind her head, smirking. "You mean I'll make chaos, and you'll try to copy me, cloud-head."
"Whaaat!? You wanna go!?" Lucy puffed her cheeks like an angry hamster.
"Bring it, balloon girl!" Aqua retorted, sticking out her tongue.
Sunny sighed as they started mock-fighting with invisible swords and exaggerated punches. "I swear… we haven't even docked yet, and it's already a circus."
{ego}: You love it.
He smiled faintly. "…Yeah. I do."
---
As they approached the docks, the city's energy hit them all at once—vendors shouting, ships unloading cargo, laughter mixing with the metallic clang of industry. It was alive.
"Everyone!" Lucy shouted, leaping onto the railing with her usual fearless grin. "We're here! Let's split up and explore! You all know your groups!"
"Wait—split up?" Sunny blinked.
Lucy pointed dramatically, voice full of adventure. "Team one: Me, Aqua, and Sunny! Team two: Nami and Zoro! Team three: Sanji, Nojiko, and Usopp!"
Sanji's eyes turned into hearts instantly. "A triple date!? YESSS, MY GODDESS NOJIKO—uh, I mean, Nami-swan—uh wait, BOTH—"
THWACK.
Nojiko whacked him with a frying pan. "Keep talking and you'll be exploring the afterlife instead."
Usopp snorted. "Looks like our team just became a cooking competition and a funeral march."
Zoro crossed his arms, clearly unamused. "Great. Stuck with the navigator. Try not to drag me into a shopping spree."
Nami shot him a glare. "Try not to get lost in an alley, swords-for-brains."
Lucy beamed, clearly proud of the chaos she caused. "Perfect! Everyone got their missions!"
Sunny rubbed his temples. "We're doomed."

⛵ Team Sunny, Aqua & Lucy — "Shopping, Chaos, and UmU"
The trio strolled through Logueport's central market—a vivid storm of colors, noise, and people. Vendors waved fresh seafood, exotic fabrics, and questionable "ancient relics" (which looked suspiciously like scrap metal).
Aqua instantly bolted to a stand selling shiny necklaces. "Ooh! Sunny, buy me this!"
Lucy grabbed his other arm. "No! Buy me this one first!"
[A/N: Sunny has around 5 billion bellys and he just acting]
Sunny was dragged left and right, his wallet crying for help. "Girls, please, my berry balance is not infinite!"
[system]: UmU~ That's fine, darling. I've already ordered twenty more on your behalf using the 'Pirate King Credit Line'.
"YOU WHAT!?"
Lucy smirked. "System, I like your style."
{ego}: I'm gonna pretend I didn't just watch our captain's financial ruin live.
Aqua spun around, giggling. "Aw, come on! We're famous now, right? Cute pirates deserve cute things!"
Sunny gave up, exhaling with a smile. "You're impossible, all of you."
"UmU~ You love us." [system] cooed through his head.
---
They wandered into a weapon shop next—Lucy's eyes caught by a massive greatsword hanging on the wall.
"Woah! That thing's huge!" she gasped. "Sunny, can I—"
"No."
"Pleaaase?"
"Still no."
Aqua whispered conspiratorially, "He said no to you? Tragic. I guess I'll ask him for something small—like that enchanted dagger~"
Lucy's smile twitched. "You wouldn't dare."
Aqua winked. "Watch me."
The air thickened with danger.
Sunny backed up slowly. "Oh no. Not again."
Aqua leaned close to his ear. "Sunny~ I think I deserve a reward for being such a good goddess on this trip."
Lucy's cloud hair started to spark like a storm. "Aqua…" she said, voice dangerously sweet. "You're standing… too close."
Aqua stuck out her tongue. "UmU~ Deal with it."
"Grrr…"
And then—CRASH!—a display rack fell over as Lucy lunged.
The shopkeeper screamed. "NOOO! NOT MY RARE IMPORTED BLADES!"
Sunny threw himself between them, holding Lucy back with both arms. "No fighting in the sword shop!!"
{ego}: This is what happens when you let chaos date chaos.
[system]: Correction—adorable chaos. 10/10 drama. Would watch again.
---
After several apologies and a suspiciously large repair fee, they made their way out to the plaza, bellies rumbling.
"Food break?" Sunny offered.
"YES!" both girls shouted at once, immediately forgetting their scuffle.
Aqua dragged Lucy by the hand, pulling her toward a takoyaki stand. "Race you, cloud girl!"
"Ha! You're on, water brain!"
Sunny watched them sprint off into the crowd, laughing, his heart lighter than it had been in a long time.
{ego}: You're smiling like a fool again.
He shrugged. "Maybe. But that's fine."
[system]: UmU~ I'll allow it, but only because they look cute when they fight over you.
Sunny snorted. "You sound jealous, System."
[system]: …Maybe a little. But if they break your heart, I'll break their souls~♡
He froze. "…That's not comforting."
[system]: UmU~ wasn't meant to be.
---
As the sun began to set, the plaza glowed orange and gold. Vendors packed their stalls, sailors sang, and a light wind carried the scent of the sea. Sunny, Aqua, and Lucy sat on a bench sharing the last of their food.
Lucy leaned her head on Sunny's shoulder, smiling dreamily. "Today was fun."
"Yeah," Aqua added, her tone soft for once. "It's been a while since we just… enjoyed a day."
Sunny looked at both of them—their laughter, their warmth—and silently promised he'd protect this peace no matter what came next.
{ego}: Foreshadowing alert.
"Shut up," he muttered with a smile.
[system]: UmU~ That's my captain.
