Reika is at crossroads, staring at her mother's dead  body. she cannot remember anything apart from the huge riptide of force she experienced before.... before what? her memory is blank and she is being held captive by the sages for the murder of one of them. 
But no, they don't punish her, they let her go, but why? she only makes it so far until she realizes she is dead. No one knows her and no one ever will, new identity, new everything and erased past. They had to have been testing her, that was the only simple explanation for it. Apart from her mother's death, she does not remember anything from her previous life until...a name. Xenna. Shards and pieces of memory keep trying to infiltrate her brain as the truth tries to make it's way to her. Was she really given a new life? Or had the sages been trying to cover up a mistake they made by attempting to kill her and instead of dying, the universe made her return, for answers.

She doesn't know that it's for her own good, but with the Sterei discovery, Garth will have to stay with her until we have more information on how to proceed.
