Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: A Different World

*In the forest of the creator, Alcanor sits on his throne waiting patiently while observing nothingness.*

Alcanor: The Void didn't make it easy for him, he said with a laugh. I'm surprised Valker survived his practice sessions.

*A figure appears kneeling before Alcanor. The figure is beautiful, with bandages over its eyes, which glow yellow through the bandages. It has completely dark hair, silver wings, dark clothing with some white lines above its chest towards its sides, and a rune that imprisons primordial concepts and dimensions at the base of its neck. white skin, and a white halo with a purple glow in the front.

The figure: My lord, I have completed my task of rebalancing the rules and temporal lines and stabilizing the concepts of all domains, she said with absolute respect and loyalty.

Alcanor: Well done, guardian of balance, Elaen. I can always count on you for these things, said Alcanor as he continued to stare into nothingness.

Elaen: I am flattered by your praise, my lord, she said with respect (and contained happiness), looking in the direction of Alcanor's gaze. My lord, if it is not too much trouble.

Alcanor: I am looking at our unexpected guest.

Elaen: Huh? Guest? But how did he get into this restricted and divine place? He should have died as soon as he entered, she said with surprise and anger. Shall I eliminate him?

Alcanor: Don't eliminate him, I allowed him to stay.

*Alcanor patiently tells her everything about Valker and his training with the Void of Eternity.*

Elaen: I understand, but why did you want to train him?

Alcanor: Let's just say he has potential, and I also have a space for a certain job, he said with a mysterious smile.

Elaen: You mean that job? But he might not survive, although, she thought for a moment, his invisibility to perception and omniscience could help him a lot to survive with certain enemies.

Alcanor: Yes, but that's not the only reason I'm giving him that job. Just wait patiently.

*Elaen nods and waits beside Alcanor, staring into nothingness. A few hours later, space begins to warp, breaking space-time and cracking the dimensions.*

Alcanor: It's over. It may have only been a few hours here, but in the Void, it must have been centuries, he said with a mysterious smile.

Elaen: So that's the mortal named Valker.

*Valker emerges from the dimensional rupture looking completely different and unrecognizable.*

Alcanor: "Wow, it seems the Void trained you to the bone," he said playfully when he saw Valker's changed appearance. "From now on, you are no longer Valker," he said, rising from his throne. "I will give you a new name, something that honors your invisibility to perception and omniscience."

*Valker stands up. His hair, once short and brown, is now silver with blue streaks, medium length and soft. His eyes, once dark, are now uneven: his right eye is red as blood, his left eye is blue like the sky or the sea. He is now wearing a dark shirt and a black jacket, dark pants, a red scarf around his shoulders, a cross on his chest and marked on the torso of his shirt, a sheathed sword on his back, and dark gloves on each hand.

Valker: What name will you give me? he said, now with a seriousness different from the fear and nerves of his former self.

Alcanor: (with a satisfied smile at Valker's change) Null, your name from now on will be Null, the Executioner of the Creator.

Null: "So that will be my new name, huh?" He smiled and raised his head. "I accept that name with honor. From now on, I will be your executioner."

Alcanor: "How many times did the Void hit you on the head?" He laughed. "You're the same as before, but now you're more serious and respectful."

Null: "He taught me more than just how to fight," he said with a laugh.

Alcanor: Null, you are no longer mortal. You are now an Executioner spirit, and I will give you your job as an executioner.

Null: Executioner? So I have to execute? Who or whom?

Alcanor: You will have to execute many demons and rebellious spirits who break the rules I gave them. I used to do it myself, but when I saw you, I knew you were right for the job.

Null: (kneels in front of Alcanor) I'll take the job, Alcanor. Tell me when to start.

Alcanor: Right now —snaps his fingers—

*When Alcanor snaps his fingers, reality twists and the leaves from the trees begin to flutter around Null.*

Alcanor: Choose one, Null, he said as he showed him the leaves in front of him.

*Null thinks for a while and then picks up one of the leaves.*

Alcanor: (smiling) Wow, it looks like you're lucky. If you had picked any other one, you would have been erased, he said laughing, but sincerely.

Null: (scared and relieved) Thank goodness. So what do I do now?

*Suddenly, the leaf is absorbed into Null's body.*

Alcanor: It's a gift to make you even more useful and to make your work easier.

*Alcanor snaps his fingers and Null disappears. He then appears in a different world*.
