The air beyond the barrier felt cold
Theo stumbling forward as the rift closed behind them let out a sigh of relief. He turning around to look at the closing rift
Hollowreach was not visible anymore gone completely completely.
Elizabeth swallowing hard. "Theo," she whispered. "Tell me you at least plan how we are going to survive now that we are out"
Theo stared at her broke into a cold sweat
"In theory-."
Eliza closed her eyes. Took a slow breath and then punched Theo on his chick.
"Then why the hell would you let us come this far if you didn't have concrete plan," she shouted while shaking him by the collar.
"I.. didn't.. ask you.. to... come" Theo said as he was getting wobbled
Back in Hollowreach Levin and old man Han sat for a cup of tea during the night
"Levin are you sure your just going to let them wonder out past the barrier" he said taking a sip of tea
Levin reading a book didn't look at him to respond "Well not like they wouldn't be safer outside Hollowreach am I not right on that one old man Han"
Taking another sip of his tea with an eyebrow brow raised "Your just as bratty as your boy you know that"
Levin smiling as he put the book down "well thats one thing we have in common isn't it"
Theo sneezing hugged his arms shivering. "Who's talking behind my back?."
"Maybe it's the monsters coming to eat us," Eliza said instantly.

They began walking towards the mountain
The path was really a uneven and hard to get a good foot hold on like something heavy had passed through recently. Theo crouched to the side of the mountain with his fingers on the ground.
"…its going to be hard to keep going like this," he said.
Eliza leaned in to see how far the path continued. "We might have to just run across if we use energy to get a better foot hold we can make to the other side in an hour give or take"
Theo hesitated considering that he can barely even use energy.
"That wouldbe faster but."
Eliza clapping a hand over her mouth tryingnot to laugh. "Sorry forgot you can't control energy"
Theo's stomach twisted as his face reddened "shut up I can still get across"
Elizabeth confused tilted her head "how is that don't tell me you can actually control energy"
Theo smiling smuggly pointed to his shoes "these are how"
Elizabeth disappointment looked like her soul had left her body "seriously shoes over all things"
Theo not detuned looked even smuggler "If you don't believe me check the energy they have"
Elizabeth not buying it crouched don't and stared at the shoes feeling the disruption they cause to the space around them " wow they have more energy then you" she said clapping her hands
Theo tanking the hit to his pride smiled as abit of blood dripped from the edge of his lip "My dad had let them in my room so I have been having old man Han fill them with energy"
Elizabeth impressed jumped up "alright then let's get going" she coated her own shoes with energy and started walking on wall of the mountain
Theo stepping on the wall of the mountain walked after her "this feels so weird and soo cool nothing like what I expected I genuinely throught they wouldn't work"
Elizabeth looking at him then back forward "Anyways why did you dad have those I never took tge doctor for an inventor"
Theo scratching the back of his head sheepishly laughed "I actually never asked him why he had this"
Elizabeth just sighing did even turn back to look at him "I am not surprised at this point"
The two running uphill reached the other side, Theo's heartbeat pounding louder and louder in his ears as they both had a clear view of what that lightening was
Both Elizabeth and Theo could do nothing but freeze
"Theo," she whispered. "Do you see that or am I just..?" She turn to theo only to see him to stunned to even react
Before them,were craters numbers to the hundreds nothing like what the storms would ever do
Theo terrified to even move "What in the world happened here" as he started going closed to see clearly what happened
Elizabeth not even able to deny her own curiosity run after him
As they approached slowly Elizabeth noticed something moving at the base of the mountain bring both of them to a stop
Elizabeth stopping Theo before he could even get that far covered his mouth and whispered in his ear "there is something at the mountain base and it has a high energy ratio"
Theo realising the situation froze in a cold sweat as he looked down to see nothing at all from how far up they were
Theo's breath caught. "We...need to leave"
"Read my mind," Elizabeth said instantly, backing up
Theo ignored her rush looked down trying to make up a figure.

It was faint but he could hear a voice
"Eliza," Theo said quietly. "I think its coming from down there be quiet."
