*Waking up from yesterday's nightmare I felt so empty, even though it's always like this*
*The surrounding scenery is so quiet, like I'm the only one here*
*The nightmares continued every night, but this time they were all screams, not a single word. They continued until the day I was discharged from the hospital.*
*My hospital bill was also paid by my mother, because I didn't have any money in hand.*
*After leaving the hospital, I looked around for a while and then decided to go back to my apartment. I remembered very clearly where my apartment was, as if something had happened there.*
*The closer we got to the apartment, the thicker the fog around us became.*
"You dare to return to this place? You disgust me." The figure spoke to me.
*I ignored that sentence, in front of me, a desolate scene appeared, the apartment complex was abandoned. I went to my room, the door was unlocked.*
*As soon as I entered, a strong stench arose, it came from the refrigerator, the food was spoiled because the power was cut off. I entered the bathroom, what caught my eye was a pile of dried blood all over the wall.*
*And behind that, a strange door seemed to beckon me. I didn't remember ever having this door. It didn't lead to any room. Like it's just there*
*I walked through without hesitation, on the other side of the door was a cozy little room and a woman with black hair who seemed to be waiting for me*
"Hi Sunday, long time no see" She said
"Who are you?"
"Don't you remember? It's me, your wife."
"My wife? I have a wife?"
"Yes, I've been waiting for you for a long time."
*Everything is getting more and more confusing, this room is too strange, there are no windows, the door I just entered also disappeared, the space is so stuffy*
"What's wrong? You don't look well."
*I looked at her again, trying to remember who she was, but couldn't remember anything*
"Answer me, who are you?"
"Didn't I just say it, I'm your wife, Anna"
"Anna?" I asked, the name was so familiar to me, but I couldn't remember anything, not even a small detail.
*Before she could say anything else, the surrounding scene became distorted and she gradually disappeared*
*Waking up on the bathroom floor, I had a knife in my hand, I don't even remember when I held it, or if it just suddenly appeared in my hand.*
*Standing up, I noticed there was a letter in the bathtub*
The letter said:
"Dear, Sunday
By the time you read this letter, I will be in a very far away place. Do you still remember the Riverside town that I always wanted to go to when I was alive? I want you to meet me there.
From, Anna."
"It's strange, the letter clearly said she was dead but told me to meet her in Riverside town which I don't even know where."
*Leaving the letter in my pocket, I went into my bedroom, which was surprisingly clean and tidy.*
*I looked in the mirror, seeing my face for the first time, light blond hair, brown eyes, nothing special*
*Sitting down on the bed, a familiar feeling came over me.*
*I turned on the computer that seemed to be mine, trying to find the way to Riverside town but couldn't remember the computer password*
*I tried all the usual passwords but none of them worked*
*Disappointed, I searched the room to see if there was anything related to the computer password*
"You don't need this computer, the mist will guide you there"
*A voice spoke behind me, the voice came from the person claiming to be my wife*
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"The mist will guide you to Riverside town."
*After saying that, she disappeared again.*
"The mist?" I asked myself.
*I stood up, looked out the window, a thick fog covered the road but not the opposite side*
*People around were still walking around normally inside it, as if only I could see it.*
*Leaving this apartment, I decided to stock up on some food with my mom's allowance because I knew the way there might be very far*
*After getting ready, I decided to call a Taxi to get there faster but their response after I asked if I wanted to go to Riverside was "Riverside town? Never heard of it"*
*People around here have never heard of it*
"Maybe I should go there myself." I talk to myself.
