Chapter 59 - Chapter 60: Victor's Firepower Theory!

The civilian cargo ship wasn't slow either.

But by the time they could see Guadalupe Island, the sky had grown dim and gray.

Intense fighting was taking place at the dock.

An Mi-8 gunship was bombing the dock back and forth - this was Victor's principle: if you haven't killed all the drug dealers, forget about infrastructure!

The drug dealers, already traumatized by helicopters, were crying and wailing. Many even jumped off the dock, disappearing instantly as a wave crashed over them.

This was the Pacific Ocean, brother, not your neighborhood swimming pool.

Kennedy Heisenberg led 20 EDM members down from the civilian ship, boarded captured speedboats, and raced toward the dock.

The machine gun mounted on the bow began firing.

This was called seizing the initiative.

Even if you couldn't kill people, you could scare them plenty.

Actually, modern warfare averaged about 10,000 rounds to eliminate one enemy. Sometimes fierce firefights looked devastating, but it was usually unlucky passersby who suffered. With African tactics and their "spray and pray" marksmanship, this number would be even higher.

"Run! Victor's landed on the island!"

A drug dealer lieutenant stamped his feet hard, screaming hoarsely at the swarming drug dealers around him, "Don't run! No running allowed!"

But the demoralized drug dealers didn't care who you were anymore.

Resistance lasted barely ten minutes before gunfire gradually ceased.

The Mi-8 circled overhead around the dock.

"Bring the ship alongside!"

The Norwegian captain wore a bitter expression, wishing he could slap himself - he shouldn't have taken this job. Tijuana's sea route would be impassable for the foreseeable future, and the drug dealers would definitely hate him by association.

Clang~

The ship made a dull sound as it docked, the hull swaying and making some seasick people feel worse. When the cargo hold opened, the TPz-1 armored vehicle charged out first.

The convoy didn't linger at the dock long, heading straight for the police station.

The sudden convoy drew many residents to their balconies to watch. "Policía" (Police) written on the vehicle bodies reminded everyone that new armed forces had officially intervened!

Some were pleased, others worried.

But this operation really looked impressive.

"Mama, are these police?" In a residential building by the roadside, a little boy stood on a chair peering outside intently. He looked at the woman beside him and said quietly, "I recognize the words on their cars."

"Teacher said Policía are for catching bad people, right?"

"Does that mean when you sell things, people won't demand protection money anymore?"

"Why haven't I seen police on Guadalupe Island before?"

"Can they bring daddy back?"

The string of questions left the woman unable to answer, only wiping away tears.

No matter how much drug dealers "controlled" their territory, they were still criminal organizations, not charity halls. On an island like Guadalupe hanging in the Pacific, they were even more brazen.

They forced all men to serve the drug dealers!

Helping them transport, unload, and smuggle goods!

Those who refused were all fed to sharks.

Many families' breadwinners died during this period.

In other words: Guadalupe Island had long suffered under drug dealers!

Though this newly arrived police force looked well-armed and had good morale, who knew if they could actually control the island's security?

The people didn't have much confidence in Victor.

"Get out! Get out! Get out!"

"Butcher! Get out of our homeland!"

"We don't need police! We have our own order!"

While the woman was still wiping tears, a group of over a hundred people appeared in front of the convoy - men and women, many elderly, some using canes. They held banners reading: "Guadalupe Island belongs to the real people!"

They were furious, throwing stones hard at the convoy.

They all looked like brave warriors defending their homeland.

But this was also one of the drug dealers' tactics.

These people were actually part of the drug trafficking group. Though once young and active members, they were now generally older. According to basic thinking, even if you were a criminal, when you got old, you should be "forgiven."

As for throwing stones instead of guns, it was because from this perspective, they were just "civilians!"

Great material for media coverage.

Drug dealers had used this method to destroy many government departments.

Evil people liked using methods mixed with shit among goodness to disgust others.

The TPz-1 armored vehicle's loudspeaker crackled, "Any behavior impacting law enforcement personnel is illegal. Our unit resolutely defends Guadalupe Island's security and stability..."

But such dispersal announcements clearly had no effect on these veteran drug dealers. Someone even threw stones hard enough to smash the loudspeaker.

"Since persuasion is useless, let caliber speak! Open fire!"

Veteran drug lords?

Still fucking drug lords!

Did you really think Victor was kindhearted?

The wealth you enjoyed should be paid back today!

Officers in the TPz-1 armored vehicle heard Victor's command and didn't hesitate, opening the weapons system and loading ammunition.

Fire!

Rat-a-tat-tat-tat-tat...

These veteran drug dealers averaging 65+ years old became targets, directly mowed down!

The old drug dealers cried and wailed, dropping their flags and running, but being old with poor mobility, the advantage of turning to run was taking bullets to the back of the head.

"Police are shooting!"

Nearby residential buildings erupted in commotion. They'd heard about conflicts at the police station entrance but hadn't seen them firsthand.

But this time it was firing at drug dealers in a residential area.

This was equivalent to...

Modern people knew about dinosaurs and understood they were awesome, but didn't know exactly how awesome. Then one day they appeared and went on a rampage - that kind of déjà vu.

"Advance!"

The convoy continued forward while unshot old drug dealers howled.

"Pablo save me! Pull me up!"

"Santans..."

Armored vehicle tires rolled right over them, screams echoing endlessly.

Parents in nearby residential areas quickly covered their children's eyes, not letting them see such cruel scenes.

"Mama, you don't need to cover my eyes. I've grown up." The little boy pried away his mother's hands, straining to look outside.

In his eyes...

The reflected image was this:

A mighty armored vehicle crushing drug dealers, those originally arrogant "masters" beginning to scream, those drug dealers who only knew how to bully islanders beginning to beg for mercy. They were also in pain...

"Using violence to maintain order?" the little boy murmured, eyes shining.

The seeds of "Victor's Theory of Violent Policing" were planted.

Blood covered the streets...

The armored vehicle's loudspeaker began broadcasting:

"Narcotraficantes, han salido a recoger sus cadáveres!"

"Drug dealers, come collect your corpses!"

...

"Bastard!"

"Son of a bitch!"

"Animal!"

On a distant two-story building beyond the armored vehicle's artillery range, many drug lords had gathered.

All the important figures on Guadalupe Island were here.

Seeing the scene unfold in the distance, they all cursed furiously.

"What do we do? This damned Victor wants to fight us to the end!"

"Call for people, attack the police station again! I don't believe we can't kill him!"

Most drug lords hadn't received proper education and had explosive tempers.

"I think we can try a different approach."

A bespectacled man in a suit who looked refined suddenly raised his hand.

"Alberto, what's your idea?"

"Right, you studied in America and have ideas. Tell us."

Alberto adjusted his glasses.

"We can demand merchants not provide them food and supplies. Many resources on the island are controlled by us. We'll wear them down. Before long, he'll either cooperate with us or surrender."

The surrounding drug lords' eyes lit up.

"That's a good idea."

"Alright, let's do it. Tell our people - anyone who sells supplies to those cops, we kill their whole families!"
