Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: Yamato's Wish

Demon Spell—Command!!!

Like the Fire Dragon Slayer and Armor Dragon Slayer, the Command Curse also requires growth and leveling up.

Currently, the Command Curse is at its first stage—Leadership Charisma!!!

At this stage, Luo Xia's every move and word will subtly influence the will of others, gradually gaining their allegiance and loyalty.

Of course, to earn someone's loyalty, Luo Xia's actions must be logical and positive, requiring him to bestow benefits upon others.

For example, killing a samurai's entire family and having them thank him in return while swearing loyalty—such a thing is impossible for the current stage of the Command Curse. Only when the spell reaches its peak can such feats be achieved.

Given the current state of Wano Country, as long as Luo Xia can ensure the people are fed, he will gain a wave of loyalty.

And as the number of followers increases, the Demon Spell will grow stronger, and the binding force of the Command will intensify.

Eventually, Luo Xia will become the sole faith in the hearts of his followers, and the samurai will no longer cling to the memory of Kozuki Oden or the Kozuki Family.

In other words, Luo Xia will gradually wrest all of Wano Country from the Kozuki's grasp.

Once the entire nation is united under his rule, if Monkey D. Luffy ever returns six years later, he will be greeted by the iron fists of the samurai.

Thinking of that amusing scene, Luo Xia couldn't help but curl his lips into a faint smile.

While Luo Xia was silently scheming, Yamato, on the other hand, could no longer stand by.

Hearing the samurai's screams and watching them being whipped like spinning tops, how could Yamato—who saw herself as Kozuki Oden—sit idly by?

"Enough already!"

Yamato suddenly shot forward, knocking out the guards one by one with her club.

"Eh? Eh?!"

"Y-Yamato... young master!"

"Young master, what are you doing?!"

"We're on the same side!"

The pirate guards cried out in confusion and panic.

"Who's on the same side as you? I am Kozuki Oden!" Yamato snapped.

The Beasts Pirates: "..."

They had long known their young master had "mental issues" and were used to it.

Meanwhile, the imprisoned samurai, hearing this for the first time, erupted in outrage.

"Young girl over there, who did you say you are?!"

"Lord Oden is our faith! You can't just claim to be him!"

"You brat, don't you dare insult our lord!"

The Kozuki samurai roared furiously.

"You damn samurai, you've got some nerve!"

"Do you even know who's standing before you?!"

"Young Master Yamato is Kaido's son!"

The pirate guards raised their whips and lashed the disrespectful samurai into spinning tops.

"I said, stop it already!" Yamato knocked out the pirates who had spoken up for her.

"You damn brat, you're Kaido's daughter?!"

"How dare a mere daughter of Kaido impersonate Lord Oden!"

"We'll never forgive you!"

The imprisoned samurai showed no gratitude for Yamato's help. Upon learning she was Kaido's daughter, their fury only grew.

Thus, an extremely "amusing" scene unfolded in the mining field.

Yamato struck down the guards to protect the imprisoned samurai.

The samurai showed no appreciation and instead cursed her.

The guards, seeking to avenge Yamato, whipped the foul-mouthed samurai into spinning tops.

Then Yamato would... and so it went, forming a three-way cycle.

The more Yamato tried to help the samurai, the more samurai ended up getting beaten down.

"Lord Luo Xia, look at Young Master Yamato's..."

Chief Jailer Babanuki rubbed his hands together with an ingratiating smile as he approached, seeking Luo Xia's assistance.

"That idiot Yamato really thinks she's Oden now!" Ulti ground her teeth, thoroughly disgusted by Yamato's betrayal. "Xia Xia, just say the word. If you give the order, I'll go knock Yamato flat."

"No need!"

Luo Xia waved his hand with a smile.

"This little drama is quite entertaining. Let them keep performing!"

"Absolutely right, bro. You're so right." Page One started cracking melon seeds nearby. "Gotta admit, Yamato's little show is pretty amusing."

From daybreak till dusk, until night fell.

Only then did Yamato return to the Udon Executives' Tower with her head hanging low, her face full of defeat.

"Welcome back!" Luo Xia pushed a plate of salmon toward Yamato.

Normally, Yamato would have pounced on it immediately, but today she had no appetite.

Despite her best efforts to help the samurai and express her admiration for Oden, not a single samurai had shown any appreciation.

The afternoon's torrent of abuse exceeded the sum total of the past twenty years, with such vicious words that Yamato nearly broke down.

"Hah, serves you right! Did you really think calling yourself Kozuki Oden would make those samurai bow before you?" Ulti sneered. "Let me tell you, no! Not only won't they, they'd rather eat your flesh and skin you alive! Because you're Kaido's daughter! You'll never gain the samurai's approval—that was decided the day you were born!"

"I know that." Yamato kept her head down.

"Then why do it? Are you an idiot? Oh wait, you are an idiot!" Ulti continued mocking.

"Um... Luo Xia, you said earlier today that whoever reached Udon first could ask for a wish. Does that still count?" Yamato grabbed Luo Xia's wrist.

"Of course!" Luo Xia nodded. "But it has to be within my power. If you want me to disband the Mining Field, forget it!"

"Idiot Yamato! You've already gotten Xia Xia in trouble once. Now you want to make Kaido punish him again?" Ulti bristled.

"Yeah, yeah!" Page One chimed in.

"No, no, that's not what I meant..." Yamato waved her hands frantically. "I don't want to free the samurai here. I just want them to have less hardship—working so hard without even enough to eat. At least let them have full meals. Can we do that?"

"Idiot Yamato! After those samurai cursed you like dogs, you still want to feed them? What an idiot~ idiot~" Ulti transformed into a bratty girl, mocking relentlessly.

"Yeah, yeah!" Page One echoed.

Yamato stayed silent, just looking at Luo Xia with hopeful eyes.

Luo Xia leisurely finished gnawing the meat off a large bone, wiped his mouth carefully, then finally turned to meet Yamato's gaze with a smile. "Of course we can!"

"Really?" Yamato hugged Luo Xia in delight. "Wahhh, Luo Xia, you're so good to me!"

"Hey hey hey!" Ulti's beautiful eyes widened in disbelief. "No no no! Yamato, you damn brat, let go of Xia Xia! Get your chest away from him!"

"Page One, relay my orders. Tomorrow, gather all prisoners from the Mining Field, along with the weapons factory craftsmen—bring them all here!" Luo Xia commanded.

"Yes, big brother!" Page One acknowledged.

The next day.

Udon No.1 Mining Field square.

Thousands of prisoner samurai and over a thousand weapons craftsmen assembled.

Everyone stared in confusion at the large red banner bearing six bold characters: Udon Co., Ltd.!!!
