Chapter 2 - My Fucked Up Life

My Fucked Up Life

I woke up to the scent of antiseptic, white walls, and the annoying beeping of a heart monitor. For a second, I didn't move. I just stared at the ceiling. My brain was still foggy.

Where the hell am I?

My first thought: Damn it, System. That stupid gambling system had knocked me out cold, hadn't it? Gave me shiny powers, a truckload of pain, then abandoned me like a one-night stand. And now here I was, stuck in a hospital bed like some tragic heroine.

Great. Just great.

I didn't remember collapsing, but judging from the stiffness in my limbs and the smell of disinfectant, I was betting it was those stalker Anbu bastards who found me passed out and dumped me here. They were probably still lurking around, recording everything, probably making bets on whether I'd drool in my sleep.

Then it hit me like a bucket of ice water.

Oh crap. What if they found out?

What if they realized I had awakened a new Bloodline limit ? Worse, what if the Hokage knew ? Of course he will know if they find out anything different about my body. The old fart loved his secrets more than his grandkids. He'd probably dissect me in a dark basement if he thought I was hiding some shiny new power from him.

Or maybe not… Now that I think about it, Hiruzen will never do that. It was Danzo's thing to do.

After all, I was the Jinjuriki. The old man might be a perverted bastard, but he was not an idiot. He would never risk the nuclear weapon of the village because of the possibility of a new Bloodline limit.

But he wouldn't do anything, doesn't mean no one else would. That bastard will definitely tell his BFF Danzo. And when that happens.….

Panic started bubbling in my gut. My hands moved on instinct, clutching the side rails of the bed. The bed frame snapped like it was made of twigs. I froze, staring at the twisted metal in my hands.

"Oh, shit," I whispered.

I didn't even have time to process before the rest of the bed groaned under my grip. There was a loud crack and suddenly I was falling along with the mattress, the sheets, and the remains of the frame. I hit the floor in a tangle of limbs, feathers from the pillow floating around me like I was in some cheap comedy skit.

Perfect. Absolutely perfect.

My heart was hammering. I hadn't meant to break the damn thing ! I didn't even know I was that strong ! Damn it ! If this gets out then the entire village will find proof that I am the monster. Knowing those nosy housewives who loved to talk whose husband's cock is bigger every chance they get. The entire village will know my secret before the next morning. What if…

The door slammed open.

A nurse appeared, eyes going wide as she took in the scene. Broken bed, feathers everywhere, me on the floor like some deranged maniac.

"Oh no no no no ! Wait ! It's not what it looks like !" I shouted, trying to stand up.

But my fucked up luck decided to clap my cheeks anyway. I promptly tripped on the blanket, tearing my flimsy hospital clothes clean in half.

Cold air hit my skin.

Oh. Oh fuck no !

I looked down. I was butt naked. I briefly noticed that my chest which used to be flat as a washboard had now grown to small mounds. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to inspect them.

The nurse's jaw dropped. I panicked harder, scrambling for the fallen blanket like it was a lifeline. Of course, my new super strength decided to make things worse. My foot caught on the broken bed frame, sending another piece of metal flying across the room with a loud clang !

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE !" the nurse shrieked, looking two seconds away from summoning the entire hospital staff.

Before she could, a masked Anbu woman appeared out of nowhere, all cold efficiency. "Stand down. Hokage-sama will handle this personally," she said, voice calm as a glacier.

The nurse sputtered. "But ! But she's naked ! And the—"

"Orders," Anbu said sharply.

The nurse hesitated, then huffed and stormed off, muttering something about crazy Jinchurikis breaking hospital property.

I sat there on the floor, clutching the blanket around me, glaring at the Anbu woman. "Hey! You forgot something kinda important here!" I shouted, gesturing at my very naked self.

She ignored me completely and left the room.

I stared after her, jaw hanging open.

"Unbelievable," I muttered. "A whole damn village of stalkers, and not one of you thought to bring me a pair of pants?"

Today was officially the worst day ever.

Hiruzen Sarutobi entered the hospital room a few minutes later, leaning on his staff, the picture of calm authority. The scene that greeted him was… unusual, to say the least.

Naruko sat cross-legged on the broken remains of the bed, wrapped in a white blanket like some tiny feral animal. Her expression was carefully crafted innocence, all wide eyes and trembling lips, as though she hadn't just caused enough property damage to bankrupt the hospital.

"Ah, Naruko," Hiruzen said kindly, slipping into his grandfatherly persona with practiced ease. "I heard there was… an incident."

Naruko blinked up at him, all big blue eyes and fake naivety. "Jiji," she said softly, "I don't know what happened. I just woke up this morning, and suddenly my whole body hurt. Then… nothing. Next thing I know, I'm here."

Her voice was the perfect mix of confusion and helplessness.

Hiruzen studied her for a long moment. The Anbu report had said the same thing—Naruko had collapsed out of nowhere, no signs of attack. And the doctor's words still echoed in his mind: possible new Bloodline limit… enhanced physical strength… body adapting rapidly.

But with the Nine-Tails sealed inside her, they couldn't risk any invasive testing. The balance was too delicate. Finally, he nodded slowly.

"You seem to be telling the truth. Congratulations, Naruko. You have awakened a bloodline limit." he said.

Naruko somehow managed to mask her panic completely and tilted her head innocently. "Bloodline limit ? What is that ?"

"Bloodline limit is a super secret and powerful jutsu. In your case it is physical enhancement. But you will have to explore your powers on your own after you graduate from the Academy. Most of the powerful shinobi possess similar powers." Hiruzen explained.

Hearing the explanation, Naruko sighed in relief. At least her other power was not discovered yet.

"So… does this mean I'm, like… super strong now ? Strong enough to become Hokage ?" she asked, her voice brimming with fake excitement, as though her life goal was sunshine and rainbows, not survival and vengeance.

"Maybe if you train enough. But not now. A new Bloodline limit can be potentially dangerous. Recklessly using it is very harmful. You may even die. So don't try anything right now. You will have to wait until you graduate from the Academy." Hiruzen smiled faintly. "Speaking of the academy… I think you are perfectly fine, Naruko. You'll be discharged soon. The Academy starts next month. If you train diligently, perhaps this new strength will serve you well one day."

He set a small bundle on the remains of the bed. "Some new clothes. You've already turned six, after all."

Naruko grabbed the clothes. A crop top and a pair of shorts. She quickly slipped them under the blanket to dress herself. It felt a little weird to dress up without wearing any panties. But beggars can be choosers. As she did, she brushed past Hiruzen casually, her fingers barely grazing his arm, subtle enough not to raise suspicion.

"Also," Hiruzen added, placing a small envelope beside her, "ten free ramen coupons. From Ichiraku."

Naruko's face lit up like it was Christmas morning. "Thanks, Jiji!" she said brightly.

Hiruzen gave her one last smile before leaving, his expression thoughtful. A new Bloodline limit… the future would certainly be interesting.
