Chapter 109 - Chapter 109: Strongest Boy vs. Strongest Girl

The second round of the Deathmatch had begun.

Group A's fight ended quickly, now Group B's turn.

Oriba vs. Julius.

A blockbuster opener.

Kurapika and the women stood in the stands, swept up in the electric atmosphere, faces flushed with excitement.

On the way to the cameras, Kurapika faked a call from Su Ze, calming the group to watch the match.

The winery's teamwork was unmatched.

Though without a codename, Kurapika's skills were undeniable.

As Katahara Sayaka introduced the fighters, a sweet voice chimed nearby.

"Hey, where's your fighter?" Honma Kina asked, hands behind her back, smiling innocently.

The uninvited guest had slipped in unnoticed, even by Kurapika.

Seeing their gazes, Kina flicked her cherry-pink hair, grinning. "The War Ghost, my next opponent!"

Senna Sora scoffed. "So eager to get crushed? Boss isn't here, but I can oblige."

Kina studied Riko seriously, shaking her head. "You're too weak. It has to be him. I've been waiting!"

Her aura surged, menacing, lips curling ear-to-ear.

A fight maniac?

Kina's sweet exterior hid a frenzied beast.

Riko stepped forward, shielding the group, looming over Kina provocatively. "Want a beating, shorty?"

Her 184 cm towered over 99% of women.

Yamauchi Sakura glanced around—she wasn't that short.

Hana pummeled Riko's back. "Jerk, jerk, jerk! I'm not short!"

Riko turned, puzzled. "Huh? Who said you were?"

Sora's face darkened.

Her sister's reaction was glacial.

"Fight me now, and I'll send you back to the zoo," Kina taunted, flashing her fists, unfazed by escalating trouble.

She didn't mind a pre-match brawl.

Riko's body moved faster than her brain, swinging a steel-corded fist that could kill a normal person.

"Stop, stop, stop!"

At the last second, Tenma Kibou intervened, grabbing Sora's arm.

Mitani Hana and Iori Ichika followed, pulling Kina back.

"Kina, not now!" Iori hissed, baring her teeth.

"Sorry, sorry!" Hana bowed repeatedly to Kurapika's group.

Sora wasn't buying the apology.

Beating Kina now would save Su Ze trouble.

She advanced, veins bulging, sneering, "Back to the zoo? Let's see what you've got, pink badger!"

As a fight loomed, Kurapika spoke. "Riko, Sora, cool it. This isn't the place."

The Senna sisters heeded Kurapika.

Somehow, she'd become the team's number two.

"What's the harm in a quick fight?" Kina pouted, disappointed.

"Shut it!" Iori clamped her mouth.

"Sorry for the trouble," Hana said, sweating, bowing to Kurapika.

She seemed nervous—genuinely so.

Kina was strong, but strength meant nothing without backing!

Donglin Construction was a Kengan member. Offending them could crush their fledgling War Maiden team.

Though, thanks to Jinguji's ramen shop, weren't they Kengan members too?

"Pfft, no big deal. Fight another time," Kurapika chuckled. "Heard you started a women's fight team. The boss thinks highly of you."

The sisters' eyes sparkled.

Another fight?!

Kurapika, true big sis material!

"Yes, it's an honor to have War Ghost's attention," Hana said, rubbing her hands.

Someone actually valued War Maiden.

How much could they sell it for?

War Maiden's finances were dire. They'd joined the Kengan to find a sponsor.

The 5.1 billion yen entry fee was mostly loans, plus Kina's family money.

"Women's fighting is a blue ocean. The Kengan lacks a women's division," Kurapika smiled.

The tense atmosphere thawed as the mature women chatted.

Tenma and Sora turned commentators, explaining the match to Yukino and others clueless about fighting.

This bout was a spectacle.

Oriba and Julius, muscle titans, clashed for over half an hour.

Oriba won!

"Our turn," Hana's group left.

Kina stared at Kurapika, eyes starry, smiling crescently. "Even if War Ghost misses the match, I'll find him after."

Hana, Iori, and Tenma paled, dragging her away.

"She's after Su Ze-kun!" Hana fumed, feeling her chest swell with anger.

She thought Kina was nice.

Betrayed!

"Next up—"

"Nickname War Ghost, the strongest high school boy, 'Su Ze'!"

"VS!"

"Nickname Revolutionary Princess, fearless in battle, shouting 'Yay! Revolution Success!' with a sweet smile—Honma Kina!"

"If Su Ze's the strongest boy, Kina's the strongest girl, right?!"

"The ultimate showdown!"

Katahara Sayaka's fervent voice whipped the crowd into a frenzy.

Amid roaring cheers, Su Ze and Kina took the stage.

Kurapika exhaled, relieved.

He hadn't missed it.

She knew Su Ze wouldn't skip a fight, but worry lingered.

Unlike Yono, she saw his battle lust clearly.

Yono overestimated her charm and underestimated his drive.

Onstage, Su Ze's ghost eyes scanned Kina, a spark of interest flaring.

Her tendons and ligaments were abnormal—insanely strong.

Her explosiveness and endurance were off the charts.

Kina wore a T-shirt and shorts, shark lines visible, her match hairstyle—side bangs and a bun—adorably fierce.

Her battle intent radiated from afar.

"Yay, revolution time!" Kina flashed a peace sign, beaming at the crowd.

"Your God's Army fighting style—it's evolved from MMA, right?" Su Ze said, eyeing her stance, bouncing lightly.

Kina didn't reply, her fists raised, closing in like a pink T-Rex.

Five seconds away, she struck.

Her body dipped and lunged, wind pressure trailing, appearing before Su Ze.

A hook flashed like pale lightning, aiming for his temple!

Su Ze blocked, but her fist retracted.

The real attack—below!

Kina leaned back, her leg snapping toward his groin.

A ferocious, momentum-fueled kick.

Su Ze's eyes glinted with malice. His left leg rose, then stomped.

Boom!

Debris flew, rocks shooting like meteors.

The ground erupted like a landmine.

Su Ze pinned Kina's foot, her pale instep deforming.

"Counterstrike! A brilliant counter!" Sayaka shouted.

Kina looked up, her smile stiffening.

Pain, pain, pain!

Su Ze's merciless fist sent her flying. As she rolled, he said coldly, "No more cheap tricks. Show me your real strength!"

"So strong! So strong!" Kina rose, starry-eyed, cheeks flushed unnaturally.

No fear, she advanced.

"Bad news—Kina's mobility's shot!" Tenma sweated. "She's stuck in a slugfest!"

A woman in a head-on fight with a man? A massive disadvantage.

Iori grabbed Hana's collar, yelling, "Call the bookies!"

Hana blinked. "Why?"

"To bet on Kina losing!" Iori snarled.

Hana shrugged helplessly. "We're broke."

Iori fell silent.

Tenma sighed inwardly.

Did they have that little faith in Kina?

She was strong!

"I've felt all kinds of pain, but a broken instep? First time… so satisfying. Thanks, War Ghost!" Kina's smile was bright, almost joyful, her trembling leg betraying her agony.

"This sweaty, crippled thrill~"

"So blissful~"

"Want to know God's Army's fighting style? Come closer, I'll show you everything. Perfect chance~"

As she neared, an ominous aura rose, her words luring Su Ze.

He smirked, striding toward her.

Her vibe was dangerous.

Exactly what he craved in this match.

Under countless eyes, they closed in!

Three meters… two… one!

At point-blank, Su Ze pocketed his hands, looking down at the pink-haired girl, smirking. "I'm here. What now?"

Sayaka's scream hit fever pitch.

"Gah! Humiliation! The strongest high school boy is about to crush the strongest high school girl!"
