Chapter 122 - Chapter 122: Shocked Akai Mother and Daughter

Su Ze watched Vermouth's performance, chuckling. "The Kengan thrives with everyone's support. Alone, I couldn't sustain such a vast organization."

Vermouth stood, adjusting her glasses with a faint smile. "You jest, President. With your strength, nothing's beyond you."

Why did that feel like planting a flag?

Su Ze recalled JOJO Part 6, where Pucci nearly erased humanity. JOJO's fate-driven world was too risky for now, but once stronger, he'd consider taking Pucci out.

Shaking his head, he changed topics. "Miss Misaki, would you join the Kengan?"

"Aren't I already a member?" Vermouth feigned confusion, sidestepping his deeper meaning.

Su Ze clarified, "I mean truly join. Katahara took many when he left, and Kengan assets, including Kengan Island, need managing. We're short on clerical staff."

"If you become my assistant, I'll fully acquire Onitake and grant you dividend rights."

Vermouth, the Black Organization's ace, was a top-tier talent—and a ruthless woman, perfect for exploitation. This would curb the organization's plots against him, redirecting their focus to backing her.

"I'll consider it," Vermouth said after a pause.

Her response told Su Ze the deal was sealed.

Turning to Wokou, he said, "If I'm not mistaken, you're Wokou Yujaku. Interested in being the Kengan's fighter instructor?"

Wokou tore off his mask. "I've got a lot of baggage. Can the Kengan protect me?"

His heart raced.

Su Ze could defeat Shen Wulong!

If the Kengan clashed with the Worm, his revenge was within reach—Shen Wulong, his clan's butcher, was his lifelong target.

Without a word, Su Ze handed over a contract.

It hired Wokou as instructor, its terms harsh, akin to indentured servitude.

Wokou signed without hesitation!

As a Kengan member, any Worm attack would justify war.

"Call in the mother-daughter pair," Su Ze said, pocketing the contract, nodding to Kurapika.

"We'll take our leave," Vermouth said with a light smile, exiting with Wokou.

Outside, eyes fixed on Kurapika, curious who was next.

To their shock, Kurapika approached the Akai duo. "The boss requests you."

Mary Sera glanced at Mary Akai, who nodded, her young face composed.

Armed Wu Clan members lined the corridor.

This wasn't an invitation—it brooked no refusal.

As the duo entered, Su Ze's eyes lit up.

Even shrunken, Mary Akai's beauty shone—dense blonde curls, emerald eyes like amber, a mixed-blood face both tender and striking, exuding a mature chill, like a precocious child.

Mary Sera matched her, with bold, spirited features, though flatter-chested.

"Big brother, why'd you call us?" Mary Akai forced a cute smile.

To avoid mistakes, Su Ze activated True Sight.

[Name: Mary Sera]

[Traits: Tomboy, Bold, Fighter, Detective]

[Thoughts: What's Su Ze's goal…]

[Description: A justice-driven girl skilled in Jeet Kune Do, with boyish traits. The ultimate tomboy, easy to befriend or romance due to her lack of dating experience. Perfect for a buddy or more.]

Su Ze's playful mindset made True Sight's data quirky.

Next.

[Name: Mary Akai]

[Traits: Mature Woman, Loli, Beauty, Mixed-Blood, Agent, Aloof]

[Thoughts: Let's… try playing it off.]

[Description: MI6 agent, highly capable, calm, stern, resilient, cautious, tough outside, soft inside… Crucially, she's a 53-year-old firecracker. One taste, and you'd cool off big time!]

Tch!

Good thing True Sight only fed back to him, or he'd die of embarrassment.

Su Ze coughed. "You two—what's the deal? Why bring guns to Kengan Island?"

Sera, following their rehearsed script, answered earnestly, "I'm MI6 agent Mary Sera. This is my sister, Alice."

"We came to watch the tournament under false identities, uninvolved. But those attackers are wanted criminals I've been tracking, tied to a transnational crime syndicate. That's why I acted."

"Sorry for any trouble."

"You mean the winery?" Su Ze raised a brow, feigning surprise.

Mary Akai's eyes sharpened, sensing a lead, but played cute. "Big brother, what's the winery?"

"The Black Organization you're chasing. Their operatives use liquor codenames," Su Ze said, smiling.

Mary Akai, wide-eyed, pressed, "Big brother, you know about them?"

Su Ze pinched her cheek, grinning as she winced. "Of course. I was a member—codename Brandy!"

His words hit Mary Akai like a thunderbolt.

The elusive Brandy, long investigated by MI6, was this young man!

She froze, her facade cracking briefly.

But she recovered, giggling, "Big brother, you're teasing! You're their enemy, right?"

Su Ze laughed. "I left the organization. By the way, you two are likely targeted now. Miss Sera, you might manage, but your sister…"

His tone turned concerned.

Sera quickly said, "No worries, I'll request MI6 family protection."

Su Ze shook his head. "You underestimate the organization. MI6 is riddled with their spies. Stay with me as assistants—I'll keep you safe."

"And thanks for stepping in."

"Any needs, tell Kurapika."

Riddled with spies?!

The Akai duo reeled, hearts pounding with shock.
