Chapter 124 - Chapter 124: A Healing Touch and a Prank

Su Ze grasped Yamauchi Sakura's pale calf, teasing, "Well? Feel any closer now?"

His hand slid down, brushing past the crook of her knee.

Sakura jolted upright, glaring at him with a mix of embarrassment and indignation.

Their eyes locked briefly before he grinned. "No more moping. I've got a cure-all pill. Want one?"

Why so tender all of a sudden?

Sakura hadn't seen this side of Su Ze in ages. She huffed, "No such thing exists!"

Undeterred, Su Ze pressed a capsule to her lips.

Sakura froze, stunned that he actually gave her a pill!

It was costly—worth tens of thousands of desire points—meant to cure cancer.

As the saying goes, money makes the hero bold. For Su Ze, desire points were his courage.

He didn't care about surface or underworld tech or miracle drugs. He just wanted Sakura well.

Now. Immediately.

"Sakura…" Su Ze drew her close, their foreheads touching, gazing into her starry eyes, searching for words.

Panic flickered in Sakura's gaze. She broke free, clutching her arms. "What's with the sudden mushiness!"

Don't say you love me or like me. You'll lose me someday.

Just then, Uzaki Hana burst in, laughing, with Senna Sora chasing her.

"Hurry, hurry, hurry! Sora mixed this by accident—super tasty, last sip!" Hana thrust a blue cocktail at Su Ze's lips, beaming.

Trusting her, Su Ze took a big gulp.

Pfft!

He spat it out, face twisting in a spectacular grimace.

"Hahaha! Su Ze's a whale now!" Hana doubled over, clutching her stomach, pointing at him, mockery written all over her face.

Sora stopped chasing, her eyes dancing with glee.

Hana's prank worked!

Su Ze yanked Hana over, pinning her across his lap, his hand landing with a series of sharp smacks, her hips quivering.

Smack! Smack! Smack!

"Yame-roo!"

Hana's wails pierced the night, startling birds from distant trees.

Su Ze didn't hold back—her pale backside reddened quickly, tears streaming from the sting.

"No more games, save me! Sakura, help!" Hana flailed.

Her usual chaos hit 90%—this outburst pushed it higher.

Su Ze stopped, ears buzzing like a fly had invaded.

"I'm done playing with you!" Hana, genuinely upset, buried her face in her knees, shutting out the world, shoulders shaking.

Play was fine, but violence was cheating.

Akiyama Kaede winced, vowing never to cross Su Ze. She didn't want a red backside.

"Ze-kun, you went too far!" Sakura puffed her cheeks.

She's so cute, and you actually hit her!

Hana's antics were 99% annoying, but Su Ze, used to her, didn't mind. Others didn't see it that way.

He felt their fiery stares, as if he'd bullied a child.

"I'll grill you squid skewers," he coughed, whispering to Hana.

She turned away, still sulking.

"And take you for bluefin tuna."

Her ears twitched.

"The new GX13 holographic headset—I really want to get you one."

"Found a Dragon Quest first-edition cartridge—I bought it for you."

"That Flagship dance machine you've always wanted, right?"

Hana's ears flicked faster. She looked up, flashing her tiger teeth, giggling foolishly.

"No lying!" She hugged his arm, nuzzling.

Hana's petite face contrasted her ample chest.

One "snowball" nearly matched her face.

Su Ze's arm sank into softness, utterly comfortable.

"Uzaki, your meat's burning," Yukishita Yono called, approaching.

"Crap!" Hana yelped, scrambling off Su Ze to flip her sizzling barbecue.

Yukishita Yukino, calm, helped beside her.

Both sisters wore swimsuits—stunning.

Yono stood by Su Ze, her cool gaze slanting at him, aloof yet loaded with meaning.

Psychology master Su Ze knew she was still mad, nursing a grudge over being overwhelmed.

Coaxing now would only fuel her fire.

In a normal relationship, Yono might've dumped him.

But Su Ze wasn't worried.

They'd never even held hands.

"The Yukishita family's five-win streak will draw challengers. Got any fighter candidates?" he asked.

Their victories brought massive profits, painting a target.

Business issues? The Kengan's mutual aid covered that.

But a formal Kengan match with no fighters? Trouble.

Yono's aloofness faded as she pondered seriously.

Su Ze suggested, "Join the women's division to ease the pressure. I'll have Yuba Ri and the Senna sisters join your team. No female fighters will challenge you yet, giving the Yukishitas time to stabilize."

Another women's division would make two in the Kengan.
