Half an hour later, Takagi Hiroko walked shoulder-to-shoulder with Su Ze, spilling every secret she knew. The contrast with her earlier torrent of lies could not have been starker.
It proved one thing beyond doubt.
In the hidden world, a thousand pretty words were worth less than a single thrust.
"I'll gather every last one of my black-magic grimoires. Come pick them up whenever you like… Oh, and there's an underground black-magic gathering in two weeks. Practitioners from all over will show up. Want in?" Hiroko's voice was honey, her body pressed as close to Su Ze as possible, the very picture of a dainty little bird clinging to its mate.
"Sure." Su Ze gave a flat nod.
His arm was looped through hers—an intimacy most couples reserved for anniversaries—but he was long past blushing over such things.
He felt nothing for Takagi Hiroko beyond the transaction they'd just sealed, so his heart stayed cool.
"Kana~" At the gate, Hiroko threw her arms around him in a lingering hug, then waved with theatrical reluctance. "Ze-kun, you have to visit me lots, okay?"
Su Ze inclined his head. "There's a black-magic fanatic at your school—Saeki Kaori. Reach out to her."
"Will do." Hiroko's smile was syrupy, as though every extra syllable from his lips was a gift from heaven.
As a teacher, she could easily transfer to Saint Maiden Academy. But Su Ze had left several promising "point-farming Pals" at her current school in Chiba, so he wasn't ready to poach her yet.
The Dark Bible was simply too classic; every character inside was top-tier. Even if only to fulfill a fantasy, Su Ze intended to collect them all.
My heart and deeds are clear as a mirror—on that front, he had always excelled.
Ichijō Yurika and the others had waited nearly an hour. At last Su Ze emerged.
"Ze-kun, why the wardrobe change?" Miyajima Sakura blinked, head tilted in puzzlement.
The rest of the girls looked equally baffled.
Only Rena's eyes flashed with mischief. "Heh heh, you wouldn't understand. This is Ze-kun's little secret!"
The way she said it screamed I know something you don't.
Instant protests erupted—sweet, crystalline voices bouncing around the van's interior like wind chimes in a typhoon.
Su Ze sighed and recycled the cover story he'd used before.
"Who knew Ze-chan was a real mage?" Hirano Natsumi flashed a sleazy uncle grin and slung an arm around his neck. "Could you magic these babies up a cup size or two?"
She used to hate her massive breasts; her husband had despised them for the same reason.
Now she wore them like a crown.
Because Su Ze liked them.
"Natsumi-nee, have you no shame? Planning to knock people out with those things?" Rena sneered, then reached over and gave the offending pair an experimental squeeze—envy sparkling in her eyes.
"I think Natsumi's are plenty," Oribe Mafuyu muttered, glancing down at her own modest papayas.
Su Ze looped an arm around Mafuyu's waist and smiled. "Mafuyu, yours are perfect. I love them exactly as they are."
Instant blush.
Sweet nothings hit a romance-starved housewife like a freight train.
Su Ze caught the faint orchid scent drifting from her skin and felt his fingers twitch. In one fluid motion he spun her around and pinned her to the seat.
"E-eh? Su Ze-kun, what are you—again?" Mafuyu squeaked.
"Can't help it. You're irresistible." He rolled his hips forward.
Rena and Sakura—ever the quick studies—were already tugging his pants down.
He'd unloaded several times inside Hiroko, yet the fire hadn't fully died. With so many girls crammed into the van, he'd chosen Mafuyu for a reason.
She gets off on being watched. Classic exhibitionist.
In seconds Mafuyu was stripped bare. She flung her arms around Su Ze, trying to hide behind his broad frame.
She felt like a clearance-rack mannequin under a spotlight, every eye in the van stripping her further. Heat crawled over her skin.
The shame was divine. She was soaring.
Rational thought melted. Mimicking the younger girls, she threw up double peace signs, stuck out her tongue in a lewd ahegao, and bared everything.
The Mercedes rolled up to Saint Maiden Academy's gates.
"Professor Mikage, could you open up?"
Mikage Yuki jerked awake at Ichijō Yurika's call.
The gate still required manual operation; once renovations finished, it would scan license plates automatically.
"R-right, coming!" Yuki fumbled for the barrier remote, then glanced at the tinted window.
Yurika leaned out, smile serene.
Inside the van…
That's Professor Oribe!
What on earth is she DOING?!
Yuki's pupils shrank. She caught the exact moment Su Ze drove home. If her eyesight weren't 20/15 she'd have blamed hallucinations.
"Thank you!" Yurika chirped, easing the Mercedes through and parking neatly.
Su Ze timed his finish to the second, flooding Mafuyu with a final pulse.
"Yurika, take Mafuyu back to the dorms in a bit." He straightened, tossing Yurika a small spray bottle. "Use this for interior cleaning from now on."
Yurika turned the bottle curiously.
Sakura and Rena were "cleaning the dragon"; the more they wiped, the wetter it got.
"Rein in the drool, ladies. We're getting out." Su Ze rolled his eyes.
The two fussed and fumbled until Natsumi finally stepped in. Her suction could inhale a Planet Cup without a spoon.
The group spilled onto the pavement. Their attention snagged immediately on the construction site.
Only two days since Infrastructure Saburo's creation, and the campus was unrecognizable. Old buildings lay in rubble; elegant, aristocratic structures rose in their place like phoenixes.
"Ze-kun, you're back at last!" Ōmon Naoko and Tsukishima Kyoko jogged over, expressions somewhere between laughter and tears.
"What happened?" Su Ze frowned.
Don't tell me something broke again.
"Our dorms and classrooms got bulldozed. All our materials are still inside," Kyoko explained.
"We should've evacuated everything first," Naoko sighed.
Once Saburo started, no one dared linger in the buildings. They'd watched from a safe distance—only for the robot to flatten the lecture halls before anyone could shout stop.
The workload had exploded overnight.
"Ah, that's all?" Su Ze chuckled.
Not a disaster, just an oversight.
Naoko had been running herself ragged with the academy overhaul. Time for a reward.
During their recent "merges," he'd noticed her energy flagging.
A workhorse plowing fields and carrying loads 24/7 had no stamina left for foals.
Su Ze knew the feeling intimately; he'd been corporate livestock in his last life.
