"Madam! All supplies have been organized, we can evacuate!" In the lobby of the Goth Grand Hotel, a Debt Collector was reporting the status of the outpost's supplies to the Harbinger.
Under the Harbinger's constant urging, they finally managed to organize the massive amount of supplies in less than half the usual time.
"Good, no time to lose, let's depart now!" The Harbinger nodded upon hearing this, then prepared to sound the assembly call to evacuate Mondstadt.
But suddenly, that inexplicable palpitation reappeared in the Harbinger's heart.
Click! The hotel door was roughly kicked open, and the immense force seemed to make the ground tremble a few times.
"Holy crap, Lanssangx, why are you using so much force? Be careful, if the door breaks, I'll sell you to compensate them." A familiar voice came from afar.
The Harbinger stiffly looked towards the door and saw Yu Jin closing the door, and Lanssangx scratching her head awkwardly beside him.
"Aren't we here to cause trouble? Why be so polite?" Lanssangx looked at Yu Jin carefully closing the door, her face full of confusion.
"Ptooey, ptooey, ptooey! Who said we're here to cause trouble?" Yu Jin reached out to stop Lanssangx's nonsense.
He was clearly here to do charity, so why did it sound like he was part of the underworld when Lanssangx said it?
"Enemy attack!" The Debt Collector shouted loudly as he saw two strange strangers suddenly burst in.
All of a sudden, the entire Goth Grand Hotel became lively. Countless footsteps came from upstairs, occasionally accompanied by urgent urging.
The first-floor lobby of the Goth Grand Hotel was very spacious and grand. In fact, before the Fatui arrived, the Goth Grand Hotel was the best venue for banquets held by the upper class of Mondstadt.
Soon, the spacious lobby became crowded. Dense Fatui soldiers either rushed down from upstairs or were already in the lobby organizing supplies.
In any case, they were all now gathered around the Harbinger, vigilantly watching Yu Jin and Lanssangx.
"Are you preparing to leave?" Yu Jin reached out and touched the supplies wrapped in tarpaulin not far away.
From the feel, they should be rolled-up tents or similar items. These things are not needed under normal circumstances.
"No one is allowed to act without my command." The Harbinger's clear voice echoed in the lobby. Then the Fatui made way, and the Harbinger walked out from among them.
She looked at Yu Jin, who was looking around, and Lanssangx, who was idly picking at her fingers, and a sense of powerlessness and weariness welled up in her heart.
"What do you want to do here? I haven't done anything recently. If any of my subordinates have committed a crime, point them out, and take them away directly!"
The Harbinger's voice was filled with helplessness and concession. She didn't look like a Harbinger at all; she looked more like a punching bag.
Clang! In the silence, someone's weapon fell. The Harbinger looked sideways and saw her dumbfounded subordinates behind her.
"Hoo—" She took a few deep breaths, trying her best to calm her inner shame. Anyway, the Harbinger no longer cared about her face; now she just wanted to quickly send away the plague god, Yu Jin.
"Why so nervous? Am I a very scary person?" Yu Jin pointed to himself, seemingly puzzled by the Harbinger's reaction.
"Not scary! So, what is it? Speak quickly!" The Harbinger gritted her teeth and bit the bullet, taking over Yu Jin's words.
"Alright, don't be nervous." Yu Jin waved his hand. He scanned the lobby, roughly estimating that hundreds of Fatui were crammed in.
He didn't expect the Goth Grand Hotel to be so unassuming normally, yet it housed hundreds of burly men. That's something.
Yu Jin couldn't help but quietly swallow his saliva. So many blood bottles, these were all nutrients for the Golden Tree.
Thinking of this, he rubbed his hands and asked the Harbinger with an expectant look: "Big sister, interested in a free physical examination?"
The Harbinger's mouth twitched upon hearing this. She was a hundred percent sure that this "free physical examination" in Yu Jin's mouth was definitely not a legitimate thing.
"I want to ask, what happens if I say no?" The Harbinger felt that she still needed to struggle a bit.
"Lanssangx!"
"Awoo!"
Lanssangx let out a wolf howl, and then her entire head transformed into an Ancient Dragon head.
The distinct rock scales, the dragon's maw spitting charred breath, and the cold glint of sharp teeth within… all exerted immense pressure on everyone present.
Click! Tiny fragments fell from the ceiling, landing on Lanssangx's head.
"Change back! You poked through their ceiling!" Yu Jin looked up and saw that Lanssangx's pair of gilded dragon horns had largely pierced through the lobby ceiling and extended to the second floor.
"Huh? When did that happen? Why didn't I feel anything at all?" Lanssangx immediately panicked. The ceiling broke? Why didn't she feel anything at all?
Lanssangx transformed back into human form. She looked up and saw the two rather conspicuous large holes in the ceiling.
"Oh, well, that's not my fault. Who told human architecture to be so fragile? Besides, didn't you, Your Majesty, tell me to show my true form?" Lanssangx scratched her head, then shifted the blame to Yu Jin.
"If it weren't for the Harbinger being so uncooperative, would I have let you show your true form?" Yu Jin stated that he wouldn't take the blame and instead pinned it on the Harbinger.
The Harbinger glanced around, finding that she seemed to have no one to shift the blame to, so she could only silently shoulder this responsibility.
"How about it? Because of your hesitation, your Fatui have incurred another debt. Make a decision quickly before new losses occur!" Yu Jin very naturally attributed the losses to the Harbinger.
"Hurry up!" The Harbinger gave up struggling. She closed her eyes and waved at Yu Jin.
A sense of powerlessness, the Harbinger only felt a deep sense of powerlessness.
"Alright!" Yu Jin was so happy he almost jumped up. It would be best if the Fatui cooperated obediently.
If they resisted stubbornly, these hundreds of people might still be a considerable nuisance. After all, even if it were hundreds of pigs, tying them up and bleeding them would be a challenge.
"Everyone, stand properly, line up one by one, don't push!" Yu Jin moved around the lobby, constantly saying something.
Thus, the Fatui in the lobby were surprised to find that no matter who it was, as long as they deviated from the main group, they would immediately be pulled back by a huge force.
Looking at Yu Jin, who was now just a phantom in the lobby, the last remaining resistance in their hearts vanished.
There was no other way; with this level of strength, if he wanted to do something to them, they would have no chance to resist at all.
Looking at the Harbinger who had her back to them, the Fatui seemed to understand this Lord Harbinger a little better.
"Alright, the queue is organized, we can start!" Yu Jin stopped. He looked at the neat queue in front of him, extremely satisfied.
Then he pulled out a large water tank and a large wooden table, and on the table was a pile of things that looked like needles.
"This is…" Lanssangx looked at the conical needles rolling on the table, finding them very familiar.
"They're the proboscises of giant swamp mosquitoes." Yu Jin leaned into Lanssangx's ear and said loudly.
The Lands Between is a place of outstanding people and spirits; even its mosquitoes are enormous. Their wings, when spread, are probably half a person long.
Their proboscises are also a good dozen centimeters long, more than enough to be used as needles.
The Harbinger heard Yu Jin and Lanssangx's conversation and couldn't help but cover her face. If she could, she would want to flee this place of trouble immediately.
But she couldn't. Regardless, she was the overall person in charge of the Mondstadt Fatui. And most of the Mondstadt Fatui were right here.
"Didn't you say it was a physical examination? What do you need these strange things for?" The Harbinger walked up to Yu Jin, saying weakly.
"Physical examination?" Yu Jin turned his head, "Don't worry about it so much, let's draw some blood first!"
With that, Yu Jin grabbed the Harbinger's arm and plunged a needle in.
The Harbinger watched her fresh blood flow out of the dark needle, her eyes rolled back, and she instantly collapsed to the ground.
