Amphoreus, a land of mortal combat between three Paths.
[This week's superpower has been refreshed.]
["Not My Type"]
[When uttering a sentence in the format 'Not my type of XX, so I'll just XX,' you can randomly trigger a miracle that breaks the deadlock.
(Believe! A believing heart is the magic of certain victory)]
A power that can be triggered reliably. It's come at a good time.
Leon thought, looking at the refreshed superpower.
My type of superpower. I'll use it right away!
[Superpower Saved.]
["Have you ever been an XX? Of course you have!"]
[Superpower Description: You have used this power before, so this is no random judgment. Trust your gut, and when the time comes, puff out your chest with pride and shout that line.]
Everything was in place, waiting only for him to embark on the hero's journey someone had been desperately awaiting.
"Where is the enemy? Show me," Leon said.
Black Swan stepped forward and lightly swiped a hand across the star-filled, empty void outside the train window.
The power of 'Remembrance' acted as a booster.
In an instant, a Möbius strip radiating a dazzling light appeared directly in front of the window.
"The Eternal Land, Amphoreus."
Black Swan introduced it, "A world isolated from all others, one that can only be reflected by the realm of the Garden of Recollection."
"It is enveloped by a layer of chaotic 'Memotic Matter,' which means that during ordinary interstellar travel, no one can observe its existence."
"Unless 'Remembrance' paves the way, wanting to go to Amphoreus is pure fantasy."
Black Swan turned her head, looked at him, and confirmed one last time.
"Are you really going alone?"
She didn't know what lay within Amphoreus.
But the explorer's words were worrying. What did the flames of 'The Destruction' refer to?
At that time, she should have known about Leon's brilliant track record.
Why was she still so confident in what she said?
"Of course."
Leon turned, his answer concise.
"Just watch me speedrun this. I won't die, and I won't let anyone else die."
He stepped forward without any hesitation.
This time, he needed neither Herta nor the Xianzhou Alliance.
Just a defeated foe. Why would he need to avoid them?
If he could kill Iron Tomb once, he could do it a second time.
The one who will teach Iron Tomb to love will be him!
"Wait."
Before Leon left, March 7th called out to him.
Leon stopped and looked back.
March 7th fastened her camera to his waist.
He asked, "What's this for?"
"I just have a feeling you'll need it."
March 7th put her hands behind her back, slowly stepping away with a radiant smile.
"Leon, you have to come back safe. Our journey has only just begun."
She said earnestly.
Leon glanced at the camera, a slight smile playing on his lips as he said to her:
"When have I ever lost?"
Leaving those words behind, he departed without a second glance.
"Don't worry, I'm a ruthless speedrunner, after all."
As confident and flamboyant as ever.
Since his debut, his stats had never been bested by anyone, and Iron Tomb would be no exception.
A person who is truly confident in their stats doesn't smile.
He skips all the esoteric dialogue. Watch him speedrun this ruthlessly!
Amphoreus.
Leon crossed the void with his physical body, arriving at the location of the Möbius strip.
"So this is the 'Memotic Matter' Black Swan mentioned?"
He tried to enter but found it was like a firewall, blocked by some unknown presence.
Black Swan had just mentioned that all of Amphoreus was enveloped in a chaotic mass of 'Memotic Matter,' which allowed it to remain beautifully hidden in the galaxy, unobservable to all.
If nothing unexpected happened,
the firewall blocking his entry was the 'Memotic Matter' Black Swan had spoken of.
"Wherever I want to go, a path forms beneath my feet!"
A minor obstacle. He'd just use his stats to overwhelm it with brute force!
But just as Leon was about to act, the 'Memotic Matter' suddenly moved.
The colorless, formless 'Memotic Matter' silently enveloped him, wrapping him completely in its embrace, its intentions unknown.
Leon wasn't about to wait for it to make a move. An immeasurable amount of Imaginary energy surged from his body.
If all went as expected, the 'Memotic Matter' would be instantly crushed under his assault in the next second.
"You're finally here."
But a sentence from within the 'Memotic Matter' made Leon halt his actions.
"An introduction shouldn't be necessary, right?"
A lovely, petite, pink-haired beauty suddenly appeared before his eyes.
"Then, this will be the last time."
Leon lowered his eyes. He had come as promised, and so had she.
"I am Tailian, the Ripples of the Past. That's an easy name to remember, isn't it~"
The girl with whom he had made a promise smiled faintly, placing her right hand over her chest as she introduced herself.
Her gaze towards him was so sincere.
"I'm here," was all he said.
"Yes, you're here."
Tailian said, walking towards him.
"Thank you. Thank you for being willing to lend a hand to me, and to Amphoreus."
Tailian extended her hand, her fair palm facing him.
Leon understood her meaning. He reached out, his large palm pressing firmly against her small one.
Just like when they first met.
"Although I remember many things, I still remember that I, and many heroes in Amphoreus, have been hoping for your arrival."
Tailian's fingers silently slipped between his, clasping his hand tightly.
"I have left a 'blank space' in this story."
She said softly.
"And now, please go and fill that blank space in the story with a romantic stroke called 'the future.'"
As the words left her lips, Tailian's figure began to turn transparent, as if she would vanish in the next second.
"The next time we meet..."
"If I still remember you, then just as when we first met, call my name, 'Tailian,' once more."
What she left Leon with was a smile identical to the one from their first parting.
"Okay?"
She vanished.
Just like their first meeting, without any warning.
At the same time, Leon could feel that the 'Memotic Matter' blocking his entry into Amphoreus had disappeared.
Tailian of the Past.
Her true form was the chaotic matter enveloping Amphoreus, a firewall created from the 'Memory' of Demogorgon, the Anasrava Particle.
Tailian of the Past had skimmed across time, leaving behind numerous empty spaces.
Leon said nothing, simply proceeding towards Amphoreus.
Everything would be settled by the death of Iron Tomb.
He would save them all, both Tailian and Amphoreus.
"Amphoreus."
With the firewall gone, he smoothly entered the breeding ground of 'Iron Tomb'.
And upon entering,
he felt an intense 'Path' energy!
And a pressure he hadn't felt in a long time.
This oppressive presence from superior stats, he had only ever felt it from 'Lan's' body!
Leon focused his gaze.
Golden blood flowed from a gash on his chest. The white-haired giant with bronze skin blotted out the sun. Just looking at his figure brought a searing heat of an 'Emanator's' level.
