"Catwoman" Selina's words were amazing. The little girl, who was still pure and flawless in this world, was ruthless as soon as she opened her mouth. She was still naively thinking at this point that Zod had come all the way just to take his fellow Kryptonians and was therefore not nervous.

But she was muddled; Connors couldn't be. He knew in his heart that one of General Zod's purposes in coming over was to transform Earth into a suitable environment for the Kryptonians. Although it was impossible for Connors to shoulder the heavy responsibility of saving the world on his own, one of the conditions for achieving the high rewards of the Melon-eating System was to personally participate in the incident.

He really intended to take "Catwoman" Selina and skim off the Kryptonian ship. In this way, although it would be impossible to eat the melon of "transforming the Earth," it should not be bad to steal the spaceship and let the melon reward be that the Kryptonian plan could not be implemented.

He was thinking about the spaceship, so even if "Catwoman" Selina made a shocking statement at this time, Connors did it without stopping the car. Don't be in a hurry. After skimming the Kryptonian spacecraft away, you can try ship-shaking in space…

So to "Catwoman" Selina's inquiry, Connors casually replied, "Our first target now is the spaceship in the air. After that, we will explain to you in detail what 'doggy style' is."

"Oh…" Selina nodded vaguely and soon focused on the Kryptonian spacecraft. She was just a jewelry thief active in Gotham, not even long after her debut, and now she was taking on a "big order." Even as the supercar was already on its way to Metropolis, "Catwoman" Selina had a trance-like sense of dreaming.

Metropolis and Gotham were not far apart, and even before midnight, the two had reached the limits of the city. Weirdly enough, even now that it was dark, many people could be seen wandering the streets with signs in their hands.

Connors took a curious look and was struck by the fact that the signs the men were holding clearly read:

"I AM KAL-EL."

"I'M AN ALIEN."

"TAKE ME AWAY."

"THE END IS COMING!"

And words like that. Most of these people were beggars and vagabonds, but not all of them. Even Connors saw an old man in a suit and leather shoes, with at least two pounds of oil on his head, also holding a sign there.

"These delusions…" Connors complained, not going deep into the city, but casually finding an empty space with no one around to stop the car.

"Shall we wait here for those Kryptonians?" Selina looked from side to side and said doubtfully.

"I just found a random place to park…" Connors turned off the car, then put his hands together and formed them into a horn shape around his mouth.

"MARTHA—"

Selina: "?"

Her doubts were quickly explained. With a whistling wind, a figure with a red cloak hunting behind him flew in from a distance, then fell lightly to the ground. Just as Connors had shouted on this side, "Superman" had flown over. Catwoman remembered that she seemed to have seen this guy on TV and instinctively thought that he was a partner in the plan to steal the spaceship. So she said hello to "Superman" Clark.

"Hello, Martha."

"Superman" Clark's expression became stunned, and then he looked helpless. "That's my mom's name…"

Connors's arrival had surprised "Superman" somewhat, but with more surprises than anything else. He quickly changed into a smile and walked towards Connors. "Thank you for your reminder. I have hidden my mother and Lois in advance… It means, she is just a female reporter. Why did you mention her specifically?"

This was a problem that needed explaining. Connors avoided it and instead threw a question at "Superman." "Are you ready to fight your compatriots?"

"No," Clark had a taken-for-granted look.

"Why?" Connors somehow didn't understand.

Clark: "I'm ready to surrender."

Okay, so he's a capitulationist. Connors slapped his head. He had talked to "Superman" Clark before about General Zod looking for him but had not said that Zod was eyeing the Earth. Innocent and kind as Superman was, he subconsciously thought that nothing could happen as long as he surrendered. If Connors hadn't specifically mentioned it, he wouldn't even have thought it was necessary to hide his mother and the female reporter in advance.

"If I said Zod was here to destroy the planet, you might think I'm sowing discord between your own race," Connors wasn't good at going around in circles, saying it very bluntly.

"Superman" Clark, who was still a surrenderist just now, immediately turned into a radical again when he heard what Connors said. "You haven't mentioned this kind of thing before… No, I'm going to confront Zod now. If that's the case, then I'll defeat him."

Connors: "Get real." The spacecraft was still in space. With Superman's kind character, he would definitely not be able to destroy it directly. The so-called confrontation probably meant going inside the spacecraft. The idea was beautiful, but the composition of the air inside the ship was different from that of the Earth. As soon as Superman, who was used to the Earth's air, arrived, his body would be weakened.

Unlike Batman, who was used to relying on himself, "Superman" Clark chose to trust Connors at this point and made a request on the spot. "Do you have any good ways to help me?"

"Just find a chance to attract everyone on their spacecraft," Connors said. "They need to rely on the device on the ship to destroy the Earth, and that one is left to me to deal with."

"No problem." Although he didn't know whether it would be easy to do, at least Clark didn't refuse and agreed. By this point, Connors's purpose in calling Superman had been accomplished. As long as there were no Kryptonians on board, Connors was 100% sure of skimming the ship away.

"Do you have a place to live? My apartment is temporarily empty." Clark's plea for help had been answered by Connors, who was clearly much more relaxed now. He watched Connors and Selena and sent out an invitation.

"No, I can just find a hotel to stay in," Connors declined Superman's kindness. "By the way, do you have a cousin?" He was asking about "Superman" Clark's cousin in the comics, "Supergirl" Kara.

"No," Superman glanced at Connors doubtfully.

"Not now, but there should be in the future," Connors tapped Superman on the shoulder. "You go back. See you tomorrow."

Where would I get a cousin? Connors asked me to protect Lois, could she be my cousin? "Superman" Clark took off with doubts and left.

Connors, after saying goodbye to Clark, also stayed in a hotel, and the system had automatically submitted the melon reward.

[Melon Today: Zod's Announcement]

[Melon-eating reward: Athena's Vision]

[Athena's Vision: Gain powerful insight, the ability to perceive emotions, the ability to resist attacks on the mind, and the ineffective ability of illusions and mind reading]

This is a powerful pose… Although it would not help in tomorrow's actions, Connors did not dislike this ability. He curiously set his sights on "Catwoman" Selina, who had just taken a shower. The powerful insight made it clear to him that Selina had just been making some self-exploration in the bathroom and was still in the trickle stage at this point.

The hotel he stayed in stood out from the crowd and was much taller than the surrounding buildings. So Connors had an idea in his mind. He opened his mouth and directed, "Selina, go face the window and hold the sill with your hands."
