"Eh? She's not dead?"
Although it was very faint and weak, Sylvia's chest still rose and fell. The crow landed on his shoulder with a low rumble in its throat, then took a sneaky bite from Hurata's body.
Leon's brows twitched, but he didn't chase the bird away since it was the one that led him here.
He dropped Hurata's corpse at the door, then walked towards the girl. He snapped the rope suspending her, and let her body fall to the ground.
Crouching beside her, he frowned a bit.
"She's beyond normal saving. Even a health potion would not work."
It was purely a miracle that she was still alive.
'What if I turn her?'
He suddenly thought, feeling curious. He'd read about vampires and werewolves turning humans into their kind. Even a zombie bite could turn someone into a zombie.
'So, do I bite her, or do I give her my blood?'
He pouted, confused. He wasn't a vampire, nor was he a werewolf. He didn't know what method to choose.
"Oh, well…"
