A Not-So-Sudden Shelving Announcement

Some time ago, a reader asked in the chapter comments when this book would go on shelves, afraid that it would be dropped.

And today, this book is officially on the shelves. Since it is, the author will naturally be more persistent and finish this story properly.

To be honest, writing Honkai Impact 3rd fanfiction is not easy. Not only is it a niche genre, but miHoYo's routine of retconning lore is also deadly for fanfiction. The author has to be very careful in checking settings and data, afraid of making any mistakes with the official information. Of course, minor discrepancies are inevitable, but the general direction must not be wrong.

I am also a person who loves to read novels and I really like the story of Honkai Impact 3rd. I have read many Honkai fanfictions, many of which are good, but they all more or less didn't suit my taste, so the idea of writing my own story came to me.

Writing is a matter that tests talent and literary skill. Readers who have followed along this far can easily see that my writing style in the first few dozen chapters was really bad, and there were many cringey points. Fortunately, I have improved since then, so it's not a complete train wreck.

Here, I really want to thank the reader friends who have been able to tolerate the author's shortcomings and have followed the updates until now. Although writing is a personal matter, writing in isolation is an incredibly difficult thing. But thankfully, I have had your company.

In terms of plot pacing, I haven't done a great job. Some parts are too drawn out, while in other parts, I haven't managed to express what I wanted to show.

I believe that the biggest advantage of fanfiction creation is being able to copy the world structure of the original work. But with the speed of the official plot development, I am a bit worried that I will have nowhere to write in the future, afraid of conflicting with the official plot. Moreover, miHoYo's routine retcons are hard to take.

Some readers have also mentioned that the protagonist can go solo and not follow the main trio. But, creating original plots is really a brain-racking matter. However, the protagonist is not one of the main trio, so it's impossible for him to follow the path of three B-rank Valkyries (Herrschers) exactly.

When the protagonist's strength reaches a certain level, the dungeons that are hell-difficulty for the main trio will become meaningless to him. At that time, he will definitely not be on the same path as the main trio. But original plots really require deep and careful thought.

Regarding the plot progression, I can only say, let's take it slowly…

As for bonus chapters, I have seen many authors' rules for them, but my personal ability is ultimately limited. I can only say that I will do my best to maintain consistent updates. Some readers might still remember that I seem to owe a few chapters…

But even so, I will brazenly ask for official subscriptions, especially the first subscription. For this book's performance, these are very important things, and also the author's motivation to continue writing.

Even for those readers who later choose to read on a browser, I implore you to cast a recommendation vote.

Doing things for love is, after all, a difficult thing. Since the book is on the shelves, I have to pursue some results. Things like having no desires, the author still can't do that.

To be frank, going on the shelves makes me very anxious. This book's collection has not yet passed 5,000, and its recommendation vote ranking is not that great either. But since I've already written 430,000 words, I might as well give it a try.

Finally, I hope my readers will give me lots of support!!! (づωど)
