Chapter 203 - Chapter 39: Inside Chiyou

After clearing a small area of Honkai Beasts, Ming Yu and Theresa secured a small foothold inside Chiyou.

Stepping onto the solid ground within Chiyou's body and looking at the dense swarm of Honkai Beasts around them, Ming Yu couldn't help but feel his scalp tingle.

A rough glance revealed several hundred Honkai Beasts surrounding them tightly, with more constantly pouring in from the distance to fill the gaps. And above their heads, the hole Theresa had smashed was repairing itself at a visible rate, soon closing completely.

It seemed Chiyou had its reasons for liking to swallow its enemies.

Although Chiyou's massive size gave it a huge attack surface, it lacked agility against smaller, nimbler targets. The sheer number of Honkai Beast kin inside its body undoubtedly made up for this shortcoming.

Any prey swallowed into its belly would often be overwhelmed by the human-sea tactics of the Honkai Beasts.

Looking at Fu Hua, who was defending herself using the mechs in the near distance, a hint of shame flashed in Ming Yu's eyes. Although he knew Fu Hua couldn't possibly be in real trouble, he had left her alone inside Chiyou for several dozen minutes.

Bang!

Slamming Judah heavily on the ground, Theresa drew two golden lances from the unfolded weapon and said to Ming Yu without turning her head, "Let's rendezvous with Fu Hua first, then break through this encirclement of Honkai Beasts and find Chiyou's core!"

With that, the Principal charged into the horde of beasts, wielding the two lances.

As one of Schicksal's only three publicly known S-rank Valkyries, Theresa's power was beyond question. Although Ming Yu often joked in his mind that the S-rank Valkyrie was Judah, he knew it was just a joke.

He had never once underestimated this childlike Principal. And now, he was fortunate enough to witness a corner of this S-rank Valkyrie's strength.

Holding a lance in each hand, Theresa strode towards Fu Hua's direction. Wherever she passed, Honkai Beasts were sent flying, quickly creating a vacuum in a path.

This level of combat was no different from a leisurely stroll for her.

Watching the relaxed and comfortable Principal, Ming Yu couldn't help but widen his eyes, gaining a new understanding of an S-rank's power.

If it were him, although these Honkai Beasts could no longer cause him much trouble, breaking through the beast horde's encirclement would be no easy task. Every attack and dodge would have to be strictly calculated to ensure he wouldn't get injured and trapped in the swarm.

But for Theresa, all she needed to do was continuously swing the lances in her hands. There was no need to pay any mind to the Honkai Beasts' resistance; the monstrous strength imbued in the lances was her best defense and offense.

Even a charging Knight-class Honkai Beast couldn't withstand Theresa's extraordinary power.

Looking at the white-haired nun walking unhurriedly through the beast horde, Ming Yu couldn't help but feel a bit of envy. This kind of power, imprinted in her genes, was something he could never possess. Even if he could achieve perfection in technique in the future, the human body ultimately had its limits.

Patting his cheeks, Ming Yu quickly dispelled the emotions in his heart. The reason he diligently practiced the martial arts passed down from Fu Hua was precisely to fight against those powerful enemies.

To defeat the strong as the weak, to fight against the mighty Honkai with a frail human body—this was the meaning of martial arts!

Moreover, he still had a long way to go on the path of martial arts; it was far too early to be sighing with emotion.

Composing himself, Ming Yu also followed Theresa's steps, holding Jizo Mitama and Sakura Fubuki, clearing out the Honkai Beasts that swarmed in from behind again.

As soon as he engaged these Honkai Beasts, Ming Yu noticed a problem. These Honkai Beasts, compared to their size, were actually a bit... weak.

It was common knowledge that among the same type of Honkai Beast, a larger body generally meant greater strength. Moreover, under high concentrations of Honkai Energy, Honkai Beasts would be strengthened to a certain extent, their silicon-based carapaces becoming even harder than alloy.

The Honkai Beasts inside Chiyou should definitely be stronger than those of the same size outside. But after fighting them, Ming Yu discovered that these Chiyou kin were at least thirty percent weaker than their same-sized counterparts outside.

So, is it the power of the Key of Binding... Thinking this, Ming Yu's gaze towards Judah held a hint of strangeness.

Just being deployed and placed normally could suppress the surrounding Honkai Beasts to such an extent. It was indeed worthy of the name Key of Binding.

Furthermore, being able to suppress only the Honkai Beasts without affecting Ming Yu also demonstrated, to some extent, Theresa's control over Judah. After all, she had used this Divine Key for nearly half a century; it was normal for her to be able to control Judah's binding power precisely.

With Theresa and Judah taking the lead, the two of them quickly reached Fu Hua's side. Relying on the battle formation formed by the Titans to fight against the Honkai Beasts instantly made things much easier.

"You've worked really hard, Fu Hua."

Reaching out and pulling Judah's chain, bringing the cross to her side, the Principal comforted Fu Hua.

"It's nothing. I have these mechs to thank; they were quite useful."

Her gaze sweeping over Ming Yu almost imperceptibly, Fu Hua knocked down a Templar-class Honkai Beast in front of her with a punch and explained calmly.

As Anti-Entropy's main battle models, the quality of these mechs was very solid. Even when facing an encirclement of Honkai Beasts, more than half of them remained. Especially the three Godfathers, which completely crushed the Honkai Beasts.

Although many mechs had sustained varying degrees of damage, their main functions were still intact, and they were capable of continuing the fight.

Looking at the fighting mechs, Theresa couldn't help but nod. Although Schicksal and Anti-Entropy were enemies, she had to admit the power of Anti-Entropy's mech technology. It was not without reason that Anti-Entropy could achieve a certain balance of power with Schicksal by relying on these mechs.

"Transfer command of these mechs to me."

Turning to look at Ming Yu beside her, Theresa ordered.

Hearing the Principal's command, Ming Yu didn't dally and quickly added the Principal to the command sequence.

In its long years of fighting Anti-Entropy, the Far East Branch had acquired a lot of data on Titan mechs. As the branch head, Theresa was naturally no stranger to commanding mechs.

Although Theresa rarely had the opportunity to command mechs in battle, hadn't she seen a pig run, even if she hadn't eaten pork?

She had seen Anti-Entropy command mechs many times. Combined with her own grasp of the battlefield situation, commanding these mechs was a matter of course.

"According to the Honkai Energy Detector, there are two points of strong Honkai Energy within Chiyou, which should be its cores. We're heading to the closest one now!"

While adjusting the mechs' formation, Theresa quickly made her next decision.
