Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

---

To John Smith,

Rob here.

By now, you should already be familiar with where you are and what your background is. You may have also noticed certain changes in your behavior—like the muted emotions and other things you'll soon become aware of, if you haven't already.

This is due to you being a Space Marine. As you know, Space Marines don't have a very high opinion of the civilians they are meant to protect. Then there's the battle experience, mental conditioning, and indoctrination that all Space Marines undergo. These are some of the consequences I mentioned when you asked to become one.

To ensure these traits don't affect you negatively, I made some adjustments. However, just like Saitama, you've ended up somewhat emotionally muted.

Now, let's talk about the boons you gained as an Ultramarine.

Your intelligence is boosted—while you're no Aizen Sōsuke, compared to most people on Planetos, you're well above average. As for your physical parameters, you've probably already noticed you're significantly stronger than ordinary people.

Other Space Marine traits, like your secondary heart, third lung, and carotid spit glands, are all there—but in a metaphysical way. That means they don't physically exist, but their functions still work. The organ that would put a Space Marine into a healing coma when injured, as well as the interface for connecting power armor, has been removed.

That's all for the Space Marine enhancements.

Now, about the store.

The store works like any other you've seen in isekai anime and fanfics. You can pay with either currency from this world or store points. Now, you might be wondering, How do I earn store points?

Simple. You don't.

I'll throw you some points whenever you do something that entertains me—whether it makes me laugh, cry, or get angry. Basically, whenever I feel like it.

The store will contain things like blueprints, crops, and more. Since I'm feeling magnanimous, I've also added a search function and an inventory. However, the inventory can only store items purchased from the store. Once you take something out, you can't put it back in.

For example, if you buy one gram of rice, you can take out even a single grain—but once it's out, it stays out. The rest will remain in the inventory until you decide to use it.

So that sums up your boons.

Now, if you haven't caught on yet from the obvious hints I've been dropping—your main job is to entertain me.

Signed,

Rob.

P.S. The name can't be changed. Also, since you've been cursing me, I've decided to give you Saitama's aura as well.
