Chapter 103 - You’ve Helped Me Quite a Lot

"You look like you're in some real trouble."

"How about… I give you a little help?"

Just as Suneo was racking his brain for ideas, a stranger's voice suddenly came from behind him—and it scared the life out of him.

"Y-you…!"

"Who are you?!"

Suneo whipped around and saw a figure wrapped completely in a black cloak standing a short distance behind him.

From within the hood, two red lights flickered in his eye sockets—glowing eerily in the darkness like a ghost haunting the night.

Suneo's face went pale. His legs gave out as he stumbled backward, collapsing to the ground beside the dried well.

"Who I am doesn't matter," the cloaked man said, his voice rasping with a low, chilling laugh. "What matters is—you really did help me quite a lot. Jie jie jie jie~!"

The moment Suneo met those glowing red eyes, his mind went completely blank.Everything faded into darkness.

"So that's how it is… No wonder I sensed something familiar from this group of people."

When Suneo came to again, his entire aura had changed. The air around him felt heavy and oppressive—and his eyes… had turned blood-red.

Uranda had chosen his host.

He had possessed Suneo.

After taking control, he could sift through the host's memories and gather the information he wanted.

And from Suneo's fragmented memories, Uranda indeed found what he was looking for—

The other fragment of the Mafengka Orb had contact with this group of outsiders!

Now that he had a lead, things would be easier. He might not be able to obtain the other fragment just yet,but the one in this dried well was already within his grasp.

...

After settling his immediate matters, Uranda—now in Suneo's body—returned to join Doraemon, Nobita, and the others, pretending as if nothing had happened.

"Suneo, where the heck did you run off to?"

"We've been looking everywhere for you, you know that?"

The moment he got back, Gian scolded him harshly, his voice booming.

If Gian hadn't been trying to cut back on using violence lately, he probably would've already given Suneo a good beating.

The others also gathered around, showing genuine concern.

"Sorry, sorry! The scenery here was just so beautiful, I got distracted and ended up getting lost. Took me a while to find my way back…"

As Gian shouted at him, the corner of Suneo's mouth twitched. For a split second, a violent gleam flashed across his face—but it vanished instantly, replaced by an apologetic smile and calm tone.

"Alright then, since Suneo's back, let's head home," Doraemon said cheerfully once everyone was accounted for.

"So soon? We didn't even get to hang out for that long! That's kind of a shame," said Temujin with a laugh. "But no matter what, the Wind Village will always welcome you all to come play again!"

"Yeah! We'll definitely visit again when we have time!" Nobita grinned.

"That's right! And by then, I'll totally hit the target…!" Gian added with determination.

Both Nobita and Gian had enjoyed themselves thoroughly that day.

Especially Nobita—his unexpected knack for the Wind Disc Toss game had brought him endless joy in the afternoon.

Gian wasn't quite as good, but he'd had plenty of fun too.

Suneo, however, after saying goodbye to the villagers, hung his head low and stayed unusually quiet, lost in thought.

"Remote Retrieval Pouch!"

Once they decided it was time to go, Doraemon pulled out a leather pouch-like gadget from his four-dimensional pocket.

Since they'd been caught off guard and sucked into the valley by the strong winds earlier, the Anywhere Door had gotten stuck inside that dark tunnel.

Retrieving it normally would've been a huge hassle—but with the Remote Retrieval Pouch, it became simple.

Doraemon reached into the pouch, and right before their eyes, pulled out the familiar pink Anywhere Door.

After listening to Nobita brag all afternoon, Temujin and the others were long desensitized to Doraemon's magical gadgets.

Even seeing a huge door pulled out of a tiny pouch didn't surprise them anymore.

After saying their goodbyes, Nobita and his friends stepped through the door to head home.

Well, "journey" might be an exaggeration—since with the Anywhere Door, one step was all it took to get there.

On the other side was still the same spot as before—Nobita's room.

It had been broad daylight when they left, but now it was already night.Time really had flown today.

"Alright, we're heading home. See you tomorrow!"

"See you tomorrow!"

After such a fun day, any little argument from the morning had long been forgotten.

So after Gian and Suneo said their goodbyes to Doraemon and Nobita, they left the house together.

"Suneo, what's up with you? You've been acting weird ever since we got back."

After walking through a few streets, Gian slung an arm over Suneo's shoulder as usual, his tone casual but curious.

"Get your hand off me, you fat gorilla."

The words hit Gian like a slap.

"What did you just say?"

He froze, staring at Suneo in disbelief.

"Hey, Suneo. Just because I said I'm done with violence doesn't mean you can talk to me like that, got it?" Gian's tone dropped, a dangerous edge creeping in. "I'll give you one chance to rephrase that, or else—"

"I said, get your filthy hands off me, you annoying fat gorilla."

Before Gian could even finish, Suneo cut him off—his tone sharper, harsher, colder.

"Suneo! You bastard, you've got some nerve!"

"Looks like I'll have to teach you a lesson today! I'll make sure you remember who you're talking to!"

Gian's temper flared instantly. He couldn't believe Suneo had grown so bold as to insult him to his face.

He raised his fist—

But in that same moment, Suneo lifted his head.

A twisted grin spread across his face.

His eyes gleamed with a sinister red light.

The instant Gian met that gaze, his whole body went limp.Strength drained from his limbs, and a wave of dizziness clouded his mind—

as if his very soul was being crushed from within.
