Chapter 18 - Chapter0018:- The Awakening of Physiques

Chapter: The Awakening of Physiques

Wei Shiyan forced himself once more into the meditation posture. His breath slowed, chest rising and falling in rhythm with the silence of his chamber. His body still trembled faintly from the agony he had endured moments before, but he had no choice—if he faltered now, everything would collapse. He steadied his soul, then sank deeper into the sea of memory.

The threads surged.

Like rivers of light pouring through endless darkness, memories unraveled themselves within his mind, each strand carrying a weight that could crush a mortal ten thousand times over. They merged into a vast tapestry, and from that tapestry, something greater emerged.

Four enormous illusionary spheres appeared, rotating slowly in the depths of his consciousness. Each one had rings around them, bands of divine radiance moving in endless cycles. They floated in his inner world exactly as he had once glimpsed within the depths of his soul.

Yet, what baffled him was this: whenever he unleashed his strength in real battle, these spheres did not manifest. Only a gigantic, singular, ring-like belt appeared, as though concealing the truth of what lay within. But here, within meditation, the miniature essence of them revealed itself clearly—and the sight was dazzling beyond description.

Each sphere carried a different color, a different aura, and an entirely different path.

The first was a crimson-red soul ring, blazing like molten iron forged in the fires of creation. It pulsed with a martial will so absolute that it seemed able to suppress all heavens. This was the Martial Soul Path, born from the Primordial Demon Suppressing Cauldron. The aura It emitted was pure and domineering, containing an extreme martial essence, the very origin of the soul's thirst for strength. Wei Shiyan could feel that this path was not simply about power; it was about forging one's own cultivation road, different from all others yet carrying the might to shatter mountains and break destiny itself.

The second sphere shimmered with a golden jade-green radiance. This was the Immortality Soul Path, born from the Creation Mountain, faintly touched by the elusive Law of Creation. Unlike the fiery crimson of the martial path, this aura was deep and boundless, its rhythm so profound that even the heavens would bow before it. The sphere rotated endlessly, each turn carrying the weight of eternity. A faint sense of life unending and rebirth eternal lingered around it.

The third soul ring carries a deep purple color,

It spun with maddening unpredictability, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, sometimes clockwise, and sometimes counter. Its colors shifted between ethereal whites and deep abyssal shadows, never fixed, never solid. This was the Faith Soul Path, born from the Doom Synchronizing Altar. It carried the extreme origin of faith itself, a force that could bind mortals and gods alike. The very concept of it was a mystery, elusive beyond comprehension, a paradox that not even eternity could fully unravel. One moment it seemed intangible as mist, the next as solid as divine steel.

Wei Shiyan gazed upon them, and his soul quivered.

Then—

BOOM!

Without warning, his mind was thrown into disarray. The spheres flared, and torrents of boundless messages crashed into him like tidal waves. His body shuddered violently as knowledge far beyond human comprehension etched itself into his consciousness.

Three messages burned their way into his soul, each one a revelation:

Martial Arts Physique – Primordial War God Body

A body forged in endless battle. Blood burns like fire, bones harder than steel, muscles carrying explosive strength without limit. Every strike shakes heaven and earth, and at its peak, such a body can shatter space and worlds with a single punch.

Abilities:

Converts pain and wounds into greater strength.

Battle intent grows endlessly the longer the fight drags on.

The closer to death, the stronger the warrior becomes.

Immortal Physique – Eternal Dao Celestial Body

A body aligned naturally with Heaven's Dao. The skin glows faintly with divine light, meridians flow like rivers of jade, and bones resemble carved crystal.

Abilities:

Naturally draws in immortal qi from heaven and earth.

Can ascend realms without bottlenecks.

Longevity beyond the limits of mortals.

One foot already rests within the immortal realm.

Faith Cultivation Physique – Divine Soul Sovereign Body

A physique whose essence lies not in flesh but in the soul, in faith, and in will. The mere presence of this body inspires reverence—mortals bow, spirits tremble.

Abilities:

Gains strength from faith, prayers, and worship of others.

Eyes can see through the heart and destiny of beings.

Can manifest divine avatars fueled by believers' worship.

At its core was a single phrase, etched into the deepest layer of his soul:

"My will is law, my name is will, and will itself becomes law."

Wei Shiyan's eyes widened in shock as the flood of memories carved themselves into his mind. He suddenly remembered the pain and torture he had endured just moments ago, and his heart trembled. Even recalling it made his body ache as though the agony had never left.

But before he could even speak—

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

His soul reacted violently. All three physiques ignited within him at the same time.

Wei Shiyan froze, his thoughts collapsing into chaos.

Acquiring… all physiques… at once?

His breath hitched, eyes widening in disbelief.

"What the fuc—"

He never finished the curse.

A torrent of indescribable pain shot through his body as the transformation began. His physique was being reforged, remolded, torn apart and rebuilt to harmonize with all three supreme paths at once. His blood boiled, his flesh seared, his bones groaned as though they were being ground into powder only to be reforged harder and sharper than divine steel. His soul howled in resonance with his body, shattering and rebuilding in endless cycles.

Wei Shiyan gritted his teeth, trying desperately to endure. He lasted for minutes—minutes that felt like eternities—but in the end, even his iron will faltered. Darkness claimed him, and he collapsed, unconscious.

His body trembled violently, wracked by spasms. Yet even in his unconsciousness, the transformation did not stop. His flesh continued to remold, his bones continued to burn with divine fire, and his soul continued to pulse in terrifying resonance.

Everything comes with a price.

Wei Shiyan knew this truth better than anyone. Every surge in strength was paid for with unbearable agony. Sometimes, the pain was so great that he wished he had no power at all. Sometimes he longed to throw it all away and live as an ordinary man.

But deep inside, he also knew that he could not stop. Not now. Not ever.

He had to keep moving forward.

Even if it destroyed him.

Even if his very existence was torn apart.

This time… this time he dared not even imagine how powerful he would become. The thought itself was too terrifying.

As his body lay trembling, his consciousness hovering between life and death, the three soul paths above him began to shift. The crimson sphere blazed brighter, as though demanding battle. The jade-green sphere pulsed steadily, feeding strands of immortal qi into his body. The mysterious faith sphere rotated wildly, its shifting light spilling shadows and radiance across his inner world.

Then—something stirred.

The three began to synchronize.

Threads of power laced together, weaving into a pattern no mortal eye could ever comprehend. Martial essence fused with immortal qi, and both were bound by the mysterious current of faith. Together, they formed something greater, something impossible, something that had never existed in all of creation.

And as this power merged, as the impossible became reality, a faint sound echoed in the depths of Wei Shiyan's soul—like the opening of a gate.

A gate that should never have been touched.

From within that unseen abyss, a presence stirred. Ancient. Boundless. Terrifying.

Wei Shiyan's unconscious body shuddered violently, his soul trembling as if on the verge of collapse. His lips moved faintly, whispering words he did not understand.

The space darkened. The light of the spheres flickered. And then—

CRACK.

A fracture appeared in the fabric of his soul space.

From within it, something… looked back at him.

And Wei Shiyan's fate, already entangled with pain and power, was about to be rewritten once more.
