Chapter 10 - Unknown Future!

Chapter 10: Unknown Future!

Boss Grong:

"Correct." I thought and a smoky sword formed. I cut his head off without mercy.

After that, I lowered a smoky cloud. I placed it in the sky.

"You, healer… come here." I pointed at him to come towards me.

"Y..y…yes as you wish my lord…ah." He came running, but fell in the middle of the way. "Ah… sorry, I am coming quickly." He stood up quickly without caring about dirtying his apron.

"Do not call me lord, only Boss is enough. What's your name?" I inhaled my cigarette, for a small snake appeared wandering in the air.

"Ah I remembered it is Rankos."

"Heal this fool." I pointed with my cigarette to Arthur who was lying on a cloud, his eyes open.

"Alright…" He stood straight after reaching. He raised the hand holding a staff. On top of the staff, there was a green gem. He said, "Ability [Heal Wounds] – Cure."

Suddenly a light green aura appeared on Arthur. And the wounds he had were closed while his cheeks turned red.

"Wow… so this is how this ability works… from now on you will be one of the group's healers. Without any objections, or I will send you to see your mother, if she is dead." I was astonished by his ability.

"Y…y..yes as you order my lord…ah." I don't know if it was out of fear or if he was just clumsy, as he dropped the staff from his hand.

"Good." I continued inhaling my cigarette.

---

Arthur:

Suddenly a strange cloud descended from the sky above me.

I looked around to understand the reason for the voices I was hearing in the sky.

What happened here. I heard faint voices like La Dia… or I will kill you. When combining them, I got that the one called Dia had something bad happen to her. And the one who shouted her name knew her and accused the one who did something to her, desiring to kill him.

Hmm… what happened to that bastard…? I looked at Scott filled with blood all over his body. A clear fight. Are these his blood? He deserves what happened to him. I wish you a disgusting death… haha.

"Ability [Heal Wounds] – Cure." Suddenly I heard these words. I even began to feel a refreshing sensation throughout my body. And the light pain I felt disappeared completely. My skin returned to its healthy color.

"Come on, stand now." Boss Grong looked.

Oh… I can move now. So not only did I heal but also regained some vitality. I stood up with my tattered clothes that I somehow acquired.

"Time is up… you, go tell everyone, that every person who wants to move towards the next target, to gather together. At the place of the carriages."

"Understood, Boss." One of the men went after hearing Boss Grong's orders.

"We too have to head there as well. Ranox, correct. You will follow us." Boss Grong began moving, and I with him after my hands were cuffed with smoky shackles.

---

Eric:

"A man in his twenties. Good. I will give you 30 silver coins for him." I said to the man who was holding a man in his twenties.

I took out from a bag that was on the table 30 silver coins and gave them to the man. "Go and put him in one of the carriages in the back."

"Alright." That man took the coins. "Move, don't make me tired." And he took the bound man by his hand to one of the carriages.

The bound man was entered by Boss Grong's man into one of the parked carriages, which contained boys and girls and women and men, but did not contain anyone old in age. Then he returned to the village, desiring to earn more money.

"Next." I said as I looked at the long line.

A man advanced holding a girl and a boy, in front of the table.

Whistles. "A little girl and a boy. Worth one gold coin for the girl and 20 silver coins for the boy." I gave him his money and the man who brought them went and placed them in one of the carriages with a happy face.

"Next."

"A woman in her twenties, beautiful. Hah… is she a virgin. I don't think so." I looked intently at the man who brought her. That man lowered his eyes avoiding looking at mine. "Anyway, put her in. You will only take 45 silver coins, a penalty. Do not repeat that again or you will be in this woman's place." I warned with very cold eyes. Filthy men tch, I gave him the money and cast him a cold look.

"Next…"

"…"

"What the hell… you couldn't find anyone but an old man to bring. He's not even worth 5 copper coins. Go or I'll send you flying from here."

"…"

"She's dead don't you see that… you have gone too far in harming her. Get out of here."

"What do I do with a man who has no hands… you're joking with me, right? Carry your junk and go away from here."

"Ughhh… don't make me go crazy… you castrated him… even cut his legs… but why…"

"I found him doing something with his woman."

"Alright, and what of it. Where is that woman."

"Hehehe… she ran away."

"Wow… run now then or die." Veins appeared on my head. The man who brought the castrated man ran away.

"Ah… next… I swear I will kill those men." Their stupidity made me boil with anger.

"Hmm… great and finally someone who understands, two little girls. Worth 5 gold coins."

"…"

After a while.

---

Boss Grong:

"Hello, how are you Eric. I see you're not well." I looked at the man with blonde hair with orange edges, sitting at the wooden table.

"Boss, is it allowed for me to kill some men." He stood from the chair with a red face, he seemed about to explode with rage.

"Allowed and not allowed, you are my second deputy, on the other hand I am the Boss. And I do not accept my men dying in front of me."

"So that's it, I understand." He smiled a natural smile in front of me. But when he turned towards the line of men, an expression appeared as if it came from hell. It made more than half the line leave and return back.

"Alright, Eric, time is pressing us. Therefore we shall go." I said with a serious expression.

"But before this come, I want to talk with you a little." I pointed at Arthur who was behind me while I smiled.

"Tell me, what is your ability? Because I have not seen you pronounce it before." I asked him directly expecting a proper answer.

He looked at me with a surprised face and said: "Ability? What are you talking about?"

"That which you used against Slob, fire?" Is he lying to me? Or truly doesn't know?

"Hmm…" He tilted his head.

"Alright… alright… alright…" I sighed. I think he doesn't know his ability, maybe he uses it instinctively. He didn't pass the ability check test. If the opportunity arises I will make him undergo the test.

"What do you think brat, to join my group. This is not a question but an order." I threatened to prevent him from refusing. As soon as I finished speaking, I aimed a smoky arrow at his head.

But the boy with the messy black hair's face changed immediately to serious and his black eyes shone with determination, he said: "I prefer death over joining you."

"So that's how it is, die." I lowered the arrow quickly intending to scare him. But the boy's expression didn't change even for a second.

Tch, he would have been a good addition to the group.

"Alright… I want you to take this boy… according to what I will write in a paper." Smoke moved in the shape of a hand and took the pen and started writing on a paper.

Eric looked at the paper. "As you wish, Boss." He carried the paper and folded it to hide it in his clothes.

"Alright, pay me now, what's the value of the boy you brought." I asked Eric.

"Are you joking with me Boss." Eric was surprised by the question.

"Come on, just throw out a number."

"Alright." Eric looked at Arthur from bottom to top. "30 silver coins."

"So that's it." I think he is worth more. Eric didn't see his fight so he didn't evaluate him properly.

"Come on, enter him, I rely on you in marketing the goods. And bring a good amount of money to the group." Arthur was forced inside by Scott into one of the carriages behind the table. His shackles were changed into ropes after being smoky.

"Don't worry Boss."

"Good, me and the men will go to the next village then. Come on Scott. Ranox. Ah… I didn't introduce him to you yet. This is the new healer for the group."

"So that's it. Then let him prepare himself to heal some injuries after returning."

"Until we meet, then." I waved to Eric as I walked towards my carriage.

A group of men followed me. They rode in the different carriages there, and moved behind my carriage.
