10AM
The Cafeteria was crowded for fifteen minutes with students of all grades. There was a clear divide between the students split into two groups, the smaller of which has all the non binders. All the non binders combined were less than 40 in number, which was not even 10% of the Head count of the Binders.
In the Voluminous cafeteria, Cecil entered casually, as if he hadn't attacked the son of a minor noble five minutes ago.

Cecil looked at his stats once more, and took a seat at the non binder side of the cafeteria. He was, quite honestly, shaken a bit, and he had a free period next, so breakfast can wait. The stares from the other non binders didn't.
"Hey C! Why're you sitting here?"
Right.
He was going to miss his table.
The people were fine too, he was going to remember them.
He slid off to the closest table on the Binder's side, and looked at the food.
The Cyan Garden Academy was flying over Germany right now, so they had German food. Apple pancakes, bread rolls and eggs.
That looked pretty lame. Cecil went to the vending machine, and bought 7 energy drinks, and a bag of chips.
He looked around. None of those geniuses were here.
Ever since mana appeared along with the system, (almost)everything was classified under a uniform system.
Levels 0-50 made G rank, or peasants.
50-100 made F rank, or normal binders, or in the academy, below average students.
100-150 made E rank, or true binders, the ones who opressed the non binders. The average students.
150-200 made D rank, or Above average binders and students.
200-250 made C rank, or High Binders. The geniuses were about this rank.
250-300 made B rank, or the true geniuses in the academy, most of the the faculty were also B rank even The big names outside were minimum B rank.
300-400 made A rank.
There are S, X and Z rank too, but those are very far from him.
He scanned random items in the cafeteria. Spoons and forks were Level 30 here.
Wait what.
His Daggers were Level 10!
Were his Daggers that fucking weak?
He scanned the cutlery from The non Binder's side. Those were Level 1.
That made much more sense.
The TV was level 100.
The Lunch Lady was a non binder.
A half eaten apple had a Mag stat of 0.01, like okay, what does one do with that?
The food has a Mag stat of 10. On the Binder's side. The non Binder's had normal food.
Cecil noticed Roland enter the Cafeteria, with a bandaid, and he didn't try to fight him. That's extremely suspicious, but welcome nonetheless.
He was temporarily thinking something. How many people did he know?
Sure, he talked to every non binder in his class.
He had interacted with every professor who had taught him atleast once.
He talked with Juniper because the girl sat beside him in almost all classes.
Speaking of which, Juniper had not attended any classes since Thursday. Sure, this was the second week of this session, but still.
He had already finished the bag of chips and six of the energy drinks, and left the cafeteria. Eating food recovers Mp, but a bag of chips and 6 energy drinks didn't really have much of an effect. His Mp had recovered from 15 to 17.
He saw an isolated bench, and sat down to rest. He really liked places like these. Nothing much to see around here except for the tree beside the bench.
He looked around. There was literally nothing except for the pathway and the tree. A really out of place location to place a bench. A landmine could easily be hidden under the bench, rigging the Bench for anyone who wants to rest.
He looked down at the ground. A piece of reddish cloth with a sewing needle on top was moving. He crouched beside it.
A spider like creature, with 4 limbs that felt vaguely humanoid, holding the needle like a spear. The red cloth felt kind of like a skirt.
The spider crawled closer to Cecil, and Cecil put his finger in front of it. The spider climbed up, and crawled closer to his neck, and stabbed his neck.
"Ow—what—!",Cecil moved his palm to crush the spider, but it jumped, the cloth acting like a parachute(umbrella?) as it glided away, leaving Cecil wondering what the fuck did he witness.
Was that a demi human? Demi humans were supposed to be slaves! What is this one doing here.
Minor history lesson: Breaches.
Around 2080, Something like an obelisk appeared. These were called Breach Obelisks.
Each Obelisk had symbols on four varying heights. The topmost layer, closest to the top had Eyes carved into them. The number of eyes determined the 'complexity' of a breach.
An Obelisk could have 1 to 4 eyes, or Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Complexities.
The other three layers have four symbols each. The symbols show the danger level of the monsters inside the breach.
Circle means G rank.
Triangle means F rank.
Square means D rank.
Pentagon means C rank.
There's more, but that'll be dealt with later.
The 12 symbols correspond to 12 people. That means 12 people can interact with the symbols. These will be binded with the symbol and considered participants in the raid inside the breach. 8 of the 12 symbols give information about the Breach world when you interact with them.
Once the participant count reaches 12, The Obelisk opens a portal, which is called a Breach.
Inside a Breach is another world, even if only a small part is accessible, there are many other Worlds out there, with sometimes familiar creatures, like goblins and golems, and sometimes unfamiliar creatures, like goblins and golems.
The thing is, the same way our world has Breach Obelisks connecting us to other worlds, other Worlds have Breach Obelisks connecting them to Earth.
That's how we have Demi humans here. Failed adventurers from another world, stuck here in slavery.
Not like Cecil gives a fuck, but that needle hurt like hell, and he feels like he might see that spider again.
For now, Cecil decided to explore the marketplace.
With 12 silver.
