Chapter 16 - Sand Ninja Konoha Front is in crisis, Tsunade comes to the front line

The faint light of dawn pierced through the cracks in the dilapidated wooden door, entering the cabin. Chiye sat cross-legged, his eyes closed in rest.

After three days of recuperation.

Chiye had fully recovered.

Recalling his battle with Hanzō, Chiye gained a clearer understanding of his Sharingan's dōjutsu.

Both of his dōjutsu were unique.

Yomotsu Hirasaka symbolized playing with life and death.

It was similar to a special domain-type ability.

Within a certain range, it could extract the opponent's life force, causing death.

Of course, this dōjutsu had another use: transferring the extracted life force to others to extend their lives, or even resurrecting the dead.

However, resurrection was limited: the person must have died within one day, and there was a one-month cooldown period after use.

This limitation would be optimized as Chiye's dōjutsu power increased.

As for the other dōjutsu, Karma Cycle.

It was also a domain-effect ability.

It used genjutsu to create a special domain space, and when an enemy's attack entered this domain, it would be transferred to himself or others.

This was precisely why Hanzō's own attacks landed on himself.

In fact, all of that was an illusion.

Moreover, according to the system's conclusions.

Not only Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu, but even all attacks released by Kekkei Genkai and Kekkei Tōta could be transferred.

This dōjutsu came as a bit of a surprise to Chiye.

After all, in this Ninja World, there were too many things that could kill him.

Iwagakure's Kekkei Tōta Dust Release was a special existence that could reduce a person to molecular form.

Now with this dōjutsu, as long as he activated his Mangekyo Sharingan, no matter who, or where, tried to ambush him.

As long as it was within the domain's range, or the attack reached within the domain's range.

It would be recorded by his Mangekyo Sharingan and then specially transferred.

Safety was greatly guaranteed.

"Qianye, look!"

Konan's excited voice interrupted his thoughts.

Chiye opened his eyes to see a thin piece of paper floating above Konan's palm.

Although it swayed, it was indeed controlled by Chakra.

Her face was beaming with a proud smile, and her purplish-blue short hair looked exceptionally bright in the morning light.

"Good, your Chakra control is very stable."

Chiye nodded approvingly, reaching out to ruffle her hair.

Konan's face flushed slightly, and she shyly lowered her head.

On the other side, Yahiko was practicing Taijutsu against a wooden stake. Although his movements were clumsy, he learned each move with proper form.

Nagato sat quietly in the corner, forming hand seals, trying to condense Chakra.

His progress was the most significant; in just three days, he was already able to initially manipulate the Chakra within his body.

"You two come over too."

Chiye waved.

The three immediately gathered around, their eyes full of anticipation.

Konan, Yahiko, Nagato

After three days of getting along, the three had clearly accepted him, and there were many more smiles on their faces.

After all, they were children; emotions came and went quickly.

Chiye took three kunai from his Ninja pouch and handed them to them.

"Today I'll teach you the basics of kunaijutsu."

He stood up and walked to the open space outside the cabin.

"Watch closely."

With a flick of Chiye's wrist, the kunai turned into a cold flash of light, accurately embedding itself in the tree trunk ten meters away, hitting the bullseye.

Yahiko's eyes widened.

Konan clapped her hands, looking like a fangirl.

Konan

Nagato silently memorized the key movements.

"Remember, your wrist must be steady when exerting force, and your aim must be precise."

Chiye patiently guided them, correcting their movements one by one.

Just as the three were practicing enthusiastically, Chiye's gaze shifted slightly.

He keenly sensed an unusual Chakra approaching from a distance, indicating someone was drawing near.

"You continue practicing, I'll be right back."

Chiye whispered, then his figure flickered and disappeared from the spot.

In the forest, a Konoha Ninja was cautiously moving forward.

Chiye silently appeared behind him, pressing a kunai against his back.

"Don't move."

Chiye's voice was cold.

The Ninja stiffened, then slowly raised his hands.

"It's me! Uchiha Chiye."

Hearing the familiar voice, Chiye was momentarily stunned and retracted his kunai.

The other party removed his mask, revealing a resolute face.

The person who came was none other than Kido Kibayashi, Sakumo Hatake's subordinate.

"Why are you here?"

Chiye asked.

Kido Kibayashi let out a long sigh.

"Orochimaru-sama returned to the Village reporting that the squad was completely wiped out, and even Hanzō himself made a move.

Lady Tsunade, upon hearing this, immediately went to Hokage-sama, requesting to go to the battlefield."

"Tsunade..."

Chiye's heart warmed, but then he realized something.

"Wait, where did she go?"

"Sunagakure launched a surprise attack at the border of the three countries, and the battle situation is urgent.

Sakumo-sama requested reinforcements from the Village, separating from Lady Tsunade to attack the enemy's main force, while Lady Tsunade took the medical unit to the rear."

His expression became grave.

"Before leaving, she asked us to make sure to send someone to find you; she was certain you would never die."

Chiye's eyes instantly sharpened.

Sunagakure's poison and Puppet Jutsu were extremely tricky. Although Tsunade was powerful, the battlefield changed rapidly, and one careless mistake could lead to danger.

No one could guarantee absolute safety.

"I must go immediately."

Chiye said in a deep voice.

"Recently, Amegakure's offensive has suddenly stalled, and Sakumo-sama said it's a good opportunity to free up hands to focus on those Sand Ninja."

Kido Kibayashi nodded.

"However, your situation here..."

Chiye looked back in the direction of the wooden house; Yahiko and the other two were still practicing diligently.

He pondered for a moment and said.

"Give me ten minutes."

Returning to the wooden house, Chiye gathered the three together.

"I have an urgent mission and must leave immediately."

He said directly.

"Are you leaving?"

A hint of loss flashed in Konan's eyes.

Chiye took out a map and one of his marked kunai from his embrace, handing them to Yahiko.

"This is a safe route to the Land of Fire.

If your teacher Jiraiya doesn't come for a while, and you are affected here, follow this route to the Land of Fire.

These places I've marked have some connection with my Uchiha Clan. If you go there and mention my name and the token I gave you, they will naturally take care of you."

Yahiko's hand trembled slightly. He tightly gripped the map and kunai, a hint of reluctance and determination flashing in his eyes.

He looked up at Chiye, his lips moving, but he couldn't speak.

The usually silent Nagato, however, was the first to speak.

"Qianye, thank you... for teaching us so much."

Chiye smiled and patted his shoulder.

"Remember, the meaning of power lies in protection, not destruction."

Konan suddenly stepped forward and hugged Chiye tightly, her voice a little choked.

Chiye gently ruffled her hair, saying softly.

"You must protect yourselves well."

After bidding farewell to the three, Chiye and Kido Kibayashi quickly set off.

"Lady Tsunade will be very happy to know you're alive."

Kido Kibayashi said.

Chiye's gaze was firm.

"I know, so I must get to her as soon as possible."

"This is the exact location!"

Kido Kibayashi took out a scroll and handed it to Chiye. Chiye opened it.

It was a map of the surrounding area. His gaze quickly locked onto the circled location, and with a determined heart, Chakra covered his feet, and his speed sharply increased.

At the same time.

Tsunade stood in front of the medical tent, her bright brown eyes looking towards the Land of Rain, her lips moving as she murmured.

"Chiye, you must live..."
