It was a new day.
"Young master, it's time to go. Miss Elsa wouldn't want to be late". Qweri called out to Xenon, informing him of their imminent departure.
"Okay, I'll be out soon, just give me a few minutes". He replied, taking one last look at his status.

"I really wanted to put it all into strength, but I need my senses attribute for easier and faster meditation and my agility is just was too low considering my ability. This way my attributes are more balanced and compliments the ability I got". Xenon said to himself as he looked at the distribution of his stat points, wondering if he made the right choice.
He put on a black, cotton jacket over his grey shirt, leaving the buttons unfastened, drank a cup of water and left his room to join the others who were waiting for him.
The Prasedymum Manor, in which Xenon lived in consisted of 8 mansions in total. 7 lesser ones constructed in a semi circle around the largest mansion built entirely of black onyx
— — —
They passed through a stretch of trees that separated their mansion from the rest of the manor, Xenon was both intrigued by the abundance of nature an angered by the effort his grandfather made to keep him secluded as this was the first time he was seeing the rest of the manor ever since he got reborn into this body.
'They really did their best to get rid of me' Xenon thought to himself as he looked at the other 6 lesser mansions placed in a semi circle with their mansion at the left edge.
The rest of the mansions were in well kept conditions and could be visibly seen from anywhere in the manor except for their mansion at the left end of the semicircular placement which was not in the best conditions and was separated from the rest of the by a thick stretch of tall trees.
He gazed into the distance and gazed upon the great beautiful mansion at the centre of the manor and was amazed by its beauty. Unlike the 7 mansions in a semi circle which were built with ordinary, white, building stones, this one was built entirely with glossy black onyx that seemed to devour all the light around it. Surrounding the onyx mansion was a garden of red carnations
"The mansions in the semi circle are named according to their sizes. For easy reference". Elsa explained.
"The one at the middle of the semicircular arrangement, which is the biggest is called 1 and the rest are 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 according to their sizes and are placed left, right, left, right, left, right to 1 respectively. And the Onyx mansion is just known as the Onyx mansion".
Xenon stared at her, thinking. 'What the hell is that description. You could've just said 1 is the biggest, 2, 4, 6 are to the left and 3, 5, 7 are to the right. I can very well see their difference in sizes'.
Not noticing Xenon's stare, she continued "Only Grandfather and his subordinates lives at the Onyx mansion, Aunt Aritstia and her kids live at 1, Aunt Magret lives alone with her maid in 2, Uncle Mycel used to live with Aunt Aritstia before he left the island 7 years ago but he has been at the Onyx mansion since he came back a few weeks ago and last but not least we live at the mansion 6. 3 and 4 used to belong to Grandfather's first two children but they died years ago, they were just a little over 20."
"What happened to them?". Xenon asked.
"As I have told you many times before, Xenon, I don't know". Elsa replied.
"The old man caused their death because of his obsession. That's why he never says anything about them. I bet he's still haunted by the memories of what he put them through". Gael answered, igniting Xenon's curiosity and dislike for their grandfather.
"I can imagine what they went through". Xenon sighed.
"No you can't". Gael replied, quickening his pace.
"Um, Elsa, you said something about an island earlier". Xenon turned to her, his face contorted in confusion.
"Yes. We are on an island... our island". She replied with a smile.
"Ha ha". Gael laughed. "He doesn't even know we live on an island, much less know we own it. Where have you been all your life, under a rock?" He jested.
"Damn. So we're alone on this island surrounded by nothing but an endless stretch of ocean". Xenon was surprised. 'There's nothing about an island in the memories I got. How could this guy have lived somewhere for 14 years without knowing where he is'.
"We are not alone. There's a village surrounding the manor and there are continents around us". Elsa said
"Whoo, thats a relief, I thought we lived in the middle of nowhere".
"Grandfather is not that crazy". Gael smiled softly.
"So we live right in the middle of an island, cool. Have any of you has been off this island?". He asked. Gael, Elsa and even Qweri who had been silent throughout the walk nodded
"You gotta be kidding me." Xenon smiled bitterly.
"Ha ha ha". Gael laughed again. "I... I can't believe you've never left... our mansion". Gael said amidst his laughter. "Man, you had it tough".
Xenon ignored him and looked ahead. They had reached the low stone fence around the Onyx mansion, they stepped through the metal gate in the stone fence and walked towards the front door which was made gracefully with an mix of polished wood and shining metal. Being close up to the mansion, it was even more graceful and majestic than it was when Xenon saw it from a distance.
A guard who stood by the door opened it to let them in. They stepped into a large living room, but before Xenon could take in the view, they were ushered by one of the several maids in the room to the third floor of the building.
The third floor was encompassed by only one large room which stretched all over the floor save for a corridor and a window.
The maid escorted them upstairs but stopped at the entrance to the room where two other maids with higher authority than the one with them stood by the door. Qweri stopped at the entrance and took a position beside the maids while the rest entered.
Their entrance invited gazes, most of which were cold and directed towards Xenon.
There was a large rectangular table at the centre of the room consisting of 28 seats, 7 of which were occupied. The was a large seat at the end closest to the door, occupied by a woman who had a stark albeit faint resemblance to Xenon. The one at the other end, further into the room was twice as large and empty.
Gael went to sit on the chair just left of the large chair at the further edge, Elsa also took a seat at the left side of the table, some chairs away from Gael and Xenon sat right beside her. The only other person on the left side was a little girl with pure, snow white, hair made in one braid that went down to her waist.
Xenon eyes widened in shock and curiosity, but before he could turn to Elsa to ask who she was, a tall, fit, old man with full, bushy grey hair and grey beard that occupied most of his face came down a flight of stairs that was at the right edge of the room and led directly to the otherwise inaccessible top floor, accompanied by muscular man with finely groomed, caramel blonde hair, short caramel beard and brown eyes that radiated knowledge.
"Grandfather!". Everyone at the table stood up and bowed slightly as the old man stepped into the room. Xenon followed suit, reluctantly.
