Chapter 163 - Chapter 163

In Akira Fujimiya's Bedroom,

He waited for two full hours.

Then, finally—

He saw the second Miss Yukinoshita opening the door and standing outside, her eyes evasive and uncertain.

Her demeanor was strikingly similar to his own that morning.

Needless to say, Miss Yukinoshita must have reached some kind of agreement with the other Miss Yukinoshita.

Akira could even guess what the agreement was about.

"What's wrong? You look like you can't bear to look at me. Did you do something to let me down?" Akira said, his tone deliberately mimicking Yukino's tone from before.

"I... I just—"

"No need to say anything. I forgive you," Akira raised his hand and interrupted her softly.

"Really?" Yukinoshita Yukino's eyes lit up slightly.

"You forgave me once, so naturally, I'll forgive you once too," Akira said helplessly.

"Thank you, Akira." Yukinoshita Yukino stepped inside the room.

Akira gently wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into his embrace.

She quietly leaned against his chest.

"Tell me," Akira asked softly, "what kind of agreement did you and Haruno-san reach?"

"I... want to share half of my happiness with her."

Her voice was delicate and sincere.

After she finished speaking, Yukinoshita Yukino looked up at Akira with calm determination in her eyes.

.....

It was a quiet weekend morning.

Yuigahama Yui woke up early. After washing up, she sat down for breakfast.

Not long after, Yukinoshita Yukino arrived at her house.

"He asked me to take you somewhere," Yukinoshita Yukino said directly.

"Eh? Where are we going?" Yui asked curiously.

Yukino smiled faintly but said nothing.

Yui didn't think much of it and followed her, boarding the Yukinoshita family car.

When they arrived at the place,

Yui nervously stepped out of the car and froze the moment she saw the building in front of her— it was a beautiful church, decorated with flowers.

"Yukinon... where are we?" she asked, eyes wide.

Yukinoshita Yukino didn't answer directly.

She led Yui inside, towards a dressing room.

There, on display, was a pure white wedding dress.

Yui's cheeks flushed instantly. "Yu-Yukinon... this... this is a wedding dress."

"He's waiting for you," Yukinoshita Yukino said softly.

The implication dawned on Yui at once. She opened her mouth but no words came out.

Two attendants soon entered the room and began helping Yui change into the dress and apply her makeup.

When she finally looked in the mirror, even she was stunned by how beautiful she looked.

Nervousness fluttered in her heart.

Creak—!

Then, the door opened.

Yukinoshita Yukino stepped in—wearing a tailored suit. She looked calm, refined, and dignified.

"Yukino... you look so handsome," Yui said with a smile, her face still red.

"Let's go. I'll take you there," Yukinoshita Yukino said, extending her hand.

Yuigahama Yui hesitated only for a moment before taking her arm.

Together, they walked toward the church doors.

Step! Step! Step!

When they opened the door—

There he was.

Akira Fujimiya stood at the end of the aisle, dressed in a white suit that made him look effortlessly elegant. The moment he saw Yui, a gentle smile appeared on his lips.

Yui immediately turned her head away, unable to meet his eyes.

Yukinoshita Yukino guided her slowly forward.

Inside, there were only a few people seated in the front rows:

Ebina Hina and Miura Yumiko.

Kawasaki Saki and Kawasaki Keika.

Tsurumi Saori and Tsurumi Rumi.

And, of course, Hiratsuka Shizuka.

Yui stopped in front of Akira as Yukinoshita Yukino stepped aside.

Akira extended his hand toward her.

Immediately—Yui's face turned a deeper shade of red, but she still placed her hand gently in his.

"...This place is a film location," Akira said softly. "I rented it for today as a rehearsal for the wedding scene."

"Y-you should've told me first," Yui whispered shyly, a little disappointed inside.

"This was meant to be a surprise," Akira said, pulling out a small box.

Yui blinked in disbelief. "Y-ou even prepared a ring!?"

"It's just a simple one. I'll get you a real one next time."

He opened the box and gently slipped the ring gently onto her finger.

"Akira-kun... I—"

Emotion welled up in Yui's heart.

Before she could say more, Akira leaned slightly closer.

Yui instantly closed her eyes, her heart racing—as She waited for the Kiss.

But after several seconds, nothing happened.

She opened her eyes to find Akira smiling wryly.

"There are children here," he whispered teasingly. "Let's skip the kiss for now"

Yui's entire face turned bright red as she lowered her head in embarrassment. "Y-Yeah..."

Akira smiled, then turned toward their friends. "Thank you all for coming. There are fruits and dishes prepared outside. Let's go."

Kawasaki Keika ran up first. "Yui onee-chan, you look so beautiful!"

Yui laughed softly. "Keika, you're beautiful too."

"Congratulations on your wedding, Yui," Ebina Hina said cheerfully, teasingly.

"Hina..." Yui's cheeks reddened even more.

"Happy birthday, Yui," Miura Yumiko added with a small smile, that hide her envy.

"Thank you, Yumiko."

Outside, everyone gathered on the grassy lawn.

Hiratsuka Shizuka had arrived early and helped prepare the food.

She now sat comfortably, already filling her plate to the brim.

The others joined in, taking smaller portions and sitting around the tables.

At one table sat Akira, Yui, and Yukinoshita Yukino.

"...I feel like it's a bit of a waste," Yui murmured, glancing at all the uneaten fruit and dishes.

"You can take the fruit home. I'll make you a fruit cake tonight," Yukino said softly.

"You can take the food too," Akira added. "That way, you won't have to cook dinner."

"Thank you, Yukino," Yui said warmly.

"Don't thank me. He's the one who prepared everything," Yukino replied quietly, as she glanced at Akira.

"Yui," Akira said meaningfully, "Think about how you'll thank me tonight."

Yui's face instantly turned crimson.

She lowered her head and focused on the fruit in front of her.

Under the table, Yukinoshita Yukino's foot lightly stepped on Akira's shoe.

Akira winced slightly, smiling awkwardly before stopping himself from teasing Yukino.

.....

After the "wedding rehearsal," Yuigahama Yui changed back into her normal clothes.

The wedding dress was bought by Akira, himself.

Yukinoshita Yukino and the others headed back toward Sakurasou, while Akira and Yui stayed behind to go shopping.

"I was originally planning to surprise you by setting off fireworks at night," Akira said as they walked. "But that might disturb the neighbors, so I decided to arrange a fake wedding instead."

Yui looked up at him with a gentle expression. "It's just a birthday...You didn't need to go through so much trouble..."

"Your birthday is very important," Akira replied, glancing at her profile with a soft smile.

Yui blushed lightly and looked away. "Then... I... I want to make a wish..."

"Ahem, don't be so hasty," Akira said, already guessing what she was about to say.

"Akira-kun, you're the worst," Yui said in mock resentment, puffing her cheeks slightly.

Seeing her like that, Akira leaned in and whispered something into her ear.

Yui froze for a second, her entire face turning red.

"D-Did Yukino really say that?" she stammered.

"Well, she said she wanted to be number one, so..." Akira said casually.

"Then... then I'll line up behind Yukino," Yui whispered, her tone soft but resolute.

"...Yui is really too good," Akira said, smiling as he gently wrapped his arm around her slender waist, he really want to spoiled her.

They walked side by side into the shopping mall.

Inside, Yui asked Akira to help her pick out clothes.

Akira carefully chose several outfits that he thought would suit her—each one reflecting his own taste and that would "enhance" her charm.

As Yui tried them on one by one, Akira found himself smiling unconsciously.
