"Mom seems to have calmed down." Shen Muzhi walked up to Ah Chen. "She's lucid right now. She wants to see you and apologize, say that what happened before was out of her control, that she couldn't control herself."
Ah Chen stood up from her seat, still looking a little happy. "Aunt Chen is finally clear-headed? Okay, I'll go see her."
Shen Muzhi quickly hid the emotion in his eyes. The reason he agreed was because he had a suspicion: faced with this version of Qiao Chen, their plan very likely couldn't be carried out perfectly anymore.
