Sienna Thornton knowingly smiled but didn't press Simon Forrester about why his ears were so thoroughly red.

She cleared her throat softly, held back her smile, and went to sit down in the dining room.
Simon Forrester sat across from her, at the moment scooping potato porridge with a spoon, looking as though it was hard to swallow.
"Not eating?" Sienna chuckled, "Looks like you want to try making it again..."
Realizing she was teasing him about wanting her to strip for a temperature cure, Simon glanced at her coldly and took a bite of the porridge.
After swallowing, his body paused slightly.
A second bite, a third...
Finishing the last bite, he elegantly wiped his mouth with a napkin, then leaned back against the leather dining chair, raised an eyebrow at Sienna, surprise in his eyes, "This potato porridge doesn't taste like potato porridge."
