Chapter 3 - Prejudice is like a mountain

"What do you want to do?"

A look of interest appeared in Kurama's eyes. Perhaps because of their shared topic, Kurama's attitude towards Naruto became a bit friendlier.

"Kurama, do you want to destroy Konoha with me?" Naruto invited Kurama.

"..."

Kurama fell silent. After a long while, he said in a somewhat inexplicable tone, "Ashura would absolutely never say something like that."

Kurama's words didn't cause any reaction from Naruto, as he also remembered that Ashura seemed to be a saint in the original story.

He asked Kurama with a curious expression, "What kind of person is Ashura?"

Kurama was stunned, then became silent again, his brows furrowed. He seemed to be thinking. As Ashura's former companion, Kurama naturally understood him very well. Even after hundreds of years, he still clearly knew what kind of person Ashura, the second leader of the Ninja Sect, truly was.

However, a Tailed Beast is a Tailed Beast after all. After Ashura left, he just lay flat in the mountains. So, even after hundreds of years, Kurama was still illiterate. He was using his outwardly large, but actually very small, brain to think hard about how to properly introduce Ashura to this little blond kid.

But after thinking for a long time, only one sentence came out of his mouth.

"Ashura... he's a very kind person."

Naruto was a bit surprised. He had seen Kurama think for so long and had thought he was going to give him something profound, a bunch of flowery words to describe Ashura's glorious image. But he didn't expect it to be so... simple.

You only have two words of vocabulary, and you needed to think for so long?

However, using 'kind' to describe him was quite fitting, even to the point of being saintly. It was indeed like a saint; didn't Uzumaki Naruto, influenced by Ashura's Chakra in the original story, say things like "Obito, who wants to be Hokage, is the coolest" right after Hyuga Neji was killed?

He truly believed that love could create peace, but what right did he have to forgive the enemies who had just killed those who sacrificed themselves?

"So, Kurama, you also believe in that? Creating peace with love?" Naruto looked at Kurama curiously, wanting to hear his opinion.

Kurama fell silent. To be honest, he used to believe it, after all, he had fought alongside Ashura before. But after being Sealed for decades, he ultimately felt that Ashura's ideas were a bit naive.

Although Kurama didn't answer, his expression had already given him the answer. Naruto said with a smile, "It's hard for me to become that kind of person, after all, I would have to forgive those guys."

"Kurama, don't you think that's ridiculous?"

The smile had long vanished from Naruto's face, and his azure eyes were filled with chilling coldness.

Kurama also fell silent. Although he had been confined in the Sealed Space, he could perceive everything outside. He clearly knew what kind of malice this little blond kid had suffered in Konoha. It's not an exaggeration to say that Naruto grew up under his watch. If it weren't for him being a Nine-Tailed Jinchuriki and the Uzumaki Clan's innate vitality, he probably wouldn't have survived until now.

This is truly ironic. The hero sheds blood, and his child must continue to shed tears.

"Kurama, kindness without teeth is weakness. If forced upon others, it is malice."

"Is Ashura truly a kind person? Unilaterally choosing to enlighten others with his 'love', making others accept his self-proclaimed benevolent ideas, making others let go of hatred – isn't this also a form of evil inflicted upon others?"

Kurama didn't speak, just quietly watched Naruto. Naruto continued to speak silently.

"The prejudice in people's hearts is like a great mountain; no matter how hard you try, you can never move it."

"If I were truly like Ashura in the past, choosing to use 'love' to build a bridge of mutual understanding between people, would those ignorant villagers truly accept me openly?"

"Ultimately, everything in the Ninja World is decided by strength."

Although Uzumaki Naruto in the original story truly gained everyone's recognition through his efforts and became the Seventh Hokage of Konoha, the current Naruto does not want to follow this predetermined path for his life.

Why should the perpetrators pay nothing, while he, the one who suffered bullying, still needs to beg for their recognition?

Don't be ridiculous, he's not like all weaklings. Do you see that giant fiery red fox in front of him? He truly possesses the power to destroy Konoha.

Uzumaki Naruto, he'll do whatever he wants!

The prejudice in people's hearts is like a great mountain; no matter how hard you try, you can never move it.

And this time, Kurama also strongly empathized with Uzumaki Naruto, and he couldn't help but start reminiscing about the past.

The so-called "collection of hatred" was only a saying that began to circulate after he was Sealed inside Uzumaki Mito. Before that, he was just a big fox living in the mountains.

As a Chakra aggregate, the strongest of the Nine Tailed Beasts, Nine-Tailed, his strength would automatically grow even if he just lay down. Even if he did nothing, his strength would be among the top in the world. So after leaving the Sage of Six Paths, he just lay down in the mountains.

He had been lying in the mountains for hundreds of years. Suddenly, someone came yelling, "Nine-Tailed, your power is too strong, too dangerous!" and grabbed him, then Sealed him into a woman's body.

Kurama immediately couldn't help but curse. You bastard, if you're so strong and dangerous, why don't you Seal yourself? He didn't do anything; in the mountains, he just ate and slept every day. Why should he be Sealed?

Just because he's a Tailed Beast?

He did nothing, and suddenly he had to go to prison, a life sentence at that. Kurama immediately began to turn dark.

However, Kurama still had one question in his mind.

"Kid, you should know, right?"

"What?"

"Your parents died by my hand."
