Everyone was in shock, more than 100 billion times the speed of light?
Doesn't this mean that the speed of diffusion for this "gaseous membrane" could reach over 3,000 light years per second?
How is that possible!
Isn't it impossible for anything in the Cosmos to have a diffusion speed so much faster than the speed of light?
Karshev and the other interstellar war correspondents' first reaction was that the Blue Eggplant Interstellar War Correspondent must have gotten the number wrong.
So, Karshev, somewhat bewildered, said: "How much? Did you just say the diffusion speed of this 'gaseous membrane' is how many times the speed of light? Over 100 billion times? You must have misspoken, could it be 1,000 times the speed of light?"
"Yeah."
"How could there be something so much faster than the speed of light?"
"Even if you said 1,000 times the speed of light, I'd be skeptical, and yet you said 100 billion times?"
