Assistant Fletcher pushed the door open and walked up behind Summer Lowell, who was admiring the view by the large floor-to-ceiling window, "Director Lowell, I've passed on the message about pausing the Four Seasons project for a few days."
"Got it." Summer Lowell handed her empty water cup to her, "Please put it on the table for me."
The assistant placed the cup down and returned, a bit concerned, "Director Lowell, are you okay?"
"I'm fine. The situation isn't too terrible yet, still within my capacity to handle," Summer Lowell gave a slight smile to the worried-looking Assistant Fletcher, "Go ahead with your work, don't worry about me."
Unable to offer much help, Assistant Fletcher hesitated for a long moment before finally turning to leave the office.
The moment the door closed, the smile on Summer Lowell's face vanished completely.
Since she returned from Noah's office, she had been standing in front of this giant window, lost in thought.
