"Hard to say," Summer Lowell replied, her voice muffled as she held a tissue over her mouth and nose, "I guess the air conditioning was set too low last night, but it's not serious. A few cups of hot water should do the trick."
Summer tossed the tissue into the trash can, picked up the hot water that Assistant Fletcher had poured for her, and hurried back to her office.
Once inside, she couldn't wait to take out her phone and dialed Noah, who had just sent her a message: "President Norris, is the news you sent me just now true? Has the Sinclair Group really been kicked out of the first round of the bid?"
Noah laughed heartily on the other end of the line: "Of course it's true. I sent it to you as soon as I confirmed it. Summer, your suggestion was really spot-on."
"Not bad, not bad," Summer replied modestly, unable to resist asking, "but what's going on with Maxim Sinclair right now?"
