The name is max McKnight I'm an exorcist.
I know what you're thinking "exorcist? That means he works with the church or something.
No an exorcist in my terms are humans who are superpowered by spiritual energy and I know it's sounds crazy but it's real.
You see exorcist have a job to keep things in order and by doing so we make sure that spirits or other humans known as cultists run rampant.
There's two kinds of spirits on is called a pure soul while another is a lost soul.
Pure souls are basically human who died and became spirits that accept their new form of existence.
However lost souls are basically angry vengeful and lashing out and they become corrupted by their own mental state.
And of course some pure soul aren't exactly pure some are criminals that basically do stuff being assaulting humans or other spirits or stealing from places holding treasures from the past.
Yeah spirits have been around since the beginning of the earth and they weren't known until 1924.
And yes beings like sung wukong Thor and other mythological figures came from spirits who fought until one other killed each other.
Though some are still around but there where abouts are unknown but that doesn't matter.
As for humans yeah I don't need to explain why if you look at world wars 1 and 2 you can figure out why exorcist need to keep this whole thing a secret
Now I'm not a fully experienced exorcist I'm still in training but right now I have and nope it's not with spirits or with cultis it's actually something unbelievable.

Mugger2: yeah hand over the yen and we won't send you home in a body bag.
Nope it's not these chumps. Do you really think that someone with super natural abilities would be scared by some muggers? Bitch please.

The muggers fell to the ground with max punched the second one after he kicked the sad sack in the balls.
Max: next time you try and mug someone make sure you think smart you dumbasses.
He then checked the pockets of the muggers and stole their money which he was currently in Japan so it would be yen.
Call me a thief or a thug or whatever I'm not some guy who's a hero and just do things out of the kindness of my heart. No im just a guy who only has loyalty to those I'm close to and consider friends and family.
I will do anything to protect them alone the civilians caught in the crossfire are second. Of course I'm not a monster I save people too yeah but I'm not a complete saint I will care a little but my main focus of care is on my closest people.
And besides I'm kinda broke.
Wait. Right I forgot I didn't explain my situation.
My current problem is that I'm trapped in another world. Unbelievable right? Well it's not a lie.
Before I got here I was facing some asshole in clown make up that was causing disappearances and I was about to kill him but the bastard open a portal in front of me.
When I first got here I thought I was stuck in Japan but no apparently I'm in Japan but not the one in my world.
I'm in a place called towa city and it's highly advance in technology and apparently some big incident happened and towa city is basically a safer place.
But the biggest issue is I have no clue on how even go back to my world. I could ask if they can build me something that can return me but that's likely not gonna happen or find something that can break the dimensional barrier. Which obviously there's nothing.
On a rooftop max was writing all of this down simply to distract himself but when he got to the nothing part he stopped and he just closed the book and let out a tired sigh.
He's been in towa city for 4 days but to him it feels like he's been here for years.
And he was now lost on what to do he doesn't have a way out and he doesn't have the ability to break the dimensional barrier.
While he was looking at the horizon of towa city a girl with snake features materialized beside him.
Moline: I would ask if you are okay. But I'm guessing that that's a stupid question.
Max: yeah I'm not well at all if anything i feel like I'm completely stuck here completely.
Moline: me too. I'm worried that I'm not gonna see our family again.
That thought clenched his fist he swore an oath to protect the only family he cherish and swore to protect.
But he literally doesn't have anything to send him back home. All he needs an opportunity.
However his thoughts were interrupted by notices below him.
He looked down and saw black and white bears coming out of the sewers and started to kill people.
Max: okay. that's something you don't see everyday.
Moline also looked down at the carnage and looked at max questioningly
Moline: aren't you gonna save them?
Max got up and dusted off his clothes uninterested.
Max: normally I would but honestly this has nothing to do with me and besides unlike in our world when they die they don't turn into spirits so yeah.
Moline: yeah I can seed that and I'm guessing another reason is because you don't want to drag attention?
Max: yup yup.
Has he was about to leap off the rooftops monokumas climbed to the top and saw him and he was on the slaughter menu.
Max looked at the monokumas a mix of irritation and annoyance.
Max: sorry but I'm in a shitty mood so do me a favor and get the hell out of my way.
The monokumas didn't listen to max's words and just got out their claws and rushed at him.
However max was faster in a black blur max grabbed both of the heads of the monokumas which ended up beheading the mechanical bears.
Another one tried to sneak him but a red energy blast pass by max who had to tilt his head to the side to avoid the blast.
Which a result destroyed a hoard of monokumas with a red explosion.
Max: are you trying to kill me?
Moline: you dodge it why are you complaining.
Max: yeah I dodged it but you would have blown my head off if it hit me!
Moline just shrugged at him and when max was to lay his hands on his sister she vanished and returned to his subconscious.
Max: oh. You little shit.
Moline: you can't touch me bro.
Max: yeah yeah yack it up.
More monokumas came to the rooftop and he was in a bad mood.
Max: this is gonna get annoying quick.
Two days have passed and max was on a rooftop looking at the streets filled with bodies of adults and teens.
Apparently the ones behind the bears were kids. I'm serious kids.
Well the top ones are five one is male and has red hair with headphones,another male has a mask on them covering their face, the other was a boy with blue hair and seemed more mature than the others.
Then there's two girls one had pink hair with devil horns hair accessories and the other girl had green hair and was in a wheelchair and she gave him a chill down his spine.
Max: never thought I've seen kids actually up rise but this is more of a nuisance than anything useful. Fuck.
A monokuma climbed the rooftop he was in and max with out looking got out his revolver and show it.
When he was done he looked at his revolver's ammo slot and it was empty.
Max: good thing this custom made revolver I ordered doesn't need actual bullets.
He put his revolver away but he suddenly felt a spike of spiritual energy and bigger then the people here admit.
Max: no fucking way.
He disappeared in a burst of speed and he hurried to where the spike was coming from.
When he got there he saw a portal and he saw it was the same that got him here.
Max: guess I'm lucky. And this time I'm gonna kill that fucking clown.
He was about to enter but a girl was thrown at him and he was too focused on getting out that he didn't have time to move out.
As a result she collided with him and before max could get up he saw the portal close.
He set the girl aside and all he can do was look at were the portal was before.
His face was blank and he took a deep breath.
And he exploded.
DAMN IT!!!!!
With that shout his spiritual energy spiked out of control for a few moments and the shockwave of the burst of energy caused a small tremor that every survivor,kid and monokuma felt it.
After a few seconds letting out his frustration he walked over to the girl that was thrown.
If it wasn't obvious she's from another world or dimension or whatever.
She had blonde hair and also had pig tails tipped colored hair with on side being blue while another is red
Max didn't sense any trace of active spiritual energy on her so she must be from a different world then his.
But he noticed that she was bleeding from the forehead he was about to patch it up but he saw that the wound healed by itself which he didn't sensed any noticeable energy remnants.
However before he could examine more he heard monokumas coming at him in all directions.
He didn't want to get any more attention then he probably already made so he will have moline take care of the girl.
Max: moline get the girl out of her I don't want her to get caught in the crossfire.
Moline: you know you can just escape yourself right?
Max: I'm aware but this will minimize some of these damn bears and plus I need to let out a little steam.
Moline: if you say so.
Moline grabbed the girl and she floated up to a rooftop so that she can watch the fireworks.
Max noticed a pipe on the ground he used his feet to kick it up in to the air and he grabbed it in the way someone would hold a sword.
Max: these damn things aren't worth cutting down.
He felt monokumas coming closer and max enfused the pipe with black energy and he raised it above his head about to swing down.
When the monokumas got close enough and max swung down hard.
Drop dead!!
And that resulted in an explosion that was visible through the city but enough to make it look like gas station blew up he didn't use his full power this was a display to show off that he didn't see the monokumas as threats.
When the smoke cleared max was revealed with a melted pipe and a bunch of destroyed monokumas.
He looked at the melted pipe and he guessed that it couldn't handle his minimal energy output.
With that he just threw it away and looked at were moline was at and he created black matter wings and flew towards his sister.
Max: you enjoy the show?
Moline: yeah I did but you do know that people are gonna notice right?
Max just waved it off the concern.
Max: I highly doubt anyone would believe that a human created that explosion.
He got close to the knocked out girl and he saw the girl was overall okay.
He picked her in a piggyback ride.
Max: come on we should find someplace private so when she wakes up I can get information from her.
Moline: are you sure that's what you want out of her.
Max: shut the hell up you know damn well I have mutual respect for woman unless she does something to me.
Moline just rolled her eyes and followed her brother to find a place to stay hidden for a while.
However max felt something weird it was like a static shock but as soon it appeared it disappeared.
Max just shrugged it off as his energy acting up because he went with 5 days without using it.
