Chapter 38 - Chapter 38: Is Marrying a Cripple Really a Good Thing?

Qin Xin never imagined in her life that one day she would attend her own funeral.

A few sycamore trees hid her petite figure from being discovered by others, but allowed her to see clearly what was happening in the "memorial hall" on the other side of the garden.

Under the simple white banner, the old servant Aunt Cui was supporting the inconsolably weeping Mrs. Qin, standing beside the copper coffin.

Behind them was her younger brother, Qin Xiaoshuang, who had just started high school.

Qin Wenrou stood a little further away on the lawn where a few pots of orchids were placed, talking on the phone while pinching the small flower buds that had just sprouted in the orchid pot.

The sparse group of four or five people, in the empty garden, added a touch of desolation.

Mrs. Qin kept crying.

Qin Xiaoshuang pressed his lips tightly and said nothing, clenching his fists hard.

Until Aunt Cui reminded: "Madam, it's time to close the coffin and send it to the funeral home for burial..."
