Chapter 57 - Chapter 56: Changing Attitude

Jared Grant saw South Grant come in, put down the newspaper, and asked in a slightly cold voice,

"How is Seth? I asked the butler to check at the City Hospital, but the doctor said you did not treat him there. Where did you take Seth?"

Since the day Seth had a fever and South Grant took him away from The Grant Family, until now, it is the first time South Grant has returned.

"Nothing serious, the fever has already subsided, and he is conscious now. The burn will leave scars, but the doctor said he could undergo surgery for repair once healed."

South Grant's voice no longer held its usual arrogance and domineering nature.

Nathan Foster was right, if you start off aggressively, everyone will only guard themselves against you and view you as an opponent.

Once you're no longer so overbearing, those people will begin to ignore your existence.

In military strategy, this is called feigning weakness. South Grant felt Nathan Foster was very correct.
