Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: Sacrificing for Art

"Are they crazy? Doing that kind of thing here!" Jiang Yuhan said incredulously as she saw the action in the corner.

Li Shuxin beside her was also full of shock; for a pure girl like her, the scene before them was truly beyond her understanding.

"Because it's exciting, you know." Su Hao took out his phone, unfazed.

He and Liu Xiaoran had done something similar a few days ago, except they hadn't gone all the way.

"What are you doing? Are you going to secretly film?" Jiang Yuhan's heart jumped when she saw Su Hao pointing his phone at that corner.

"Vice President, do you think so lowly of me?" Su Hao pouted: "I'm timing him to see how many minutes he lasts."

"That's too tasteless, isn't it?" Jiang Yuhan turned her head to see the stopwatch in Su Hao's hand, her face full of exasperation.

"What do you mean tasteless? Since they dare to do such a thing in a cinema, they should be prepared to be talked about." Su Hao casually leaned on the front seat: "Vice President, how about we make a bet? I bet he won't last more than ten minutes."

"Who wants to bet on something like that with you!" Jiang Yuhan rolled her eyes at Su Hao, turned around, and whispered to Li Shuxin, holding her hand.

Su Hao didn't care, happily staring at the stopwatch on his phone. The people around, seeing Su Hao's strange actions, followed his gaze and then widened their eyes as if they had discovered a treasure.

Word spread like wildfire. Before long, the nearby audience all discovered the action in the corner, excitedly discussing it, and many even took out their phones to record.

Presumably, tonight, they would be uploaded to the hidden camera sections of certain websites.

"Aren't they afraid? So many people are watching them." The surrounding chatter interrupted Jiang Yuhan and Li Shuxin's conversation. She glanced at the corner, blushing, and asked Su Hao.

"Who knows? Maybe they just want us to find out. How does that saying go? Turns out we were also part of their play." Su Hao said, pausing the stopwatch.

Under the gaze of so many people, the action ended early. The result was pretty much as Su Hao predicted; that guy only lasted five minutes.

"Is that time considered very short?" Seeing the disdain on Su Hao's face, Li Shuxin asked curiously.

"Shorter than me, anyway." Su Hao shrugged and put his phone back in his pocket.

"Shorter than you?" Jiang Yuhan said in surprise: "You… you've also done that kind of thing?"

"Of course."

"But you're only a freshman! That's… that's too early, isn't it?" Jiang Yuhan's cheeks were flushed, and she said in a low voice.

"Is freshman year still considered early? Vice President, you're too old-fashioned. Have you ever heard the saying, there are fewer virgins in college than water in the desert? Some people have even experienced that kind of thing in high school." Su Hao chuckled.

"High school?" Jiang Yuhan murmured: "This is truly…"

"Times are progressing, and people are becoming more and more open. Vice President, you should also keep up with the times. Why not really try the bunny girl outfit? It would definitely be beautiful." Su Hao looked at Jiang Yuhan with ill intentions.

"Get lost!" Jiang Yuhan glared at Su Hao: "It's precisely because people are becoming more open that there are so many perverts like you!"

"Is that so? If I'm a pervert, what are they?" Su Hao looked up, pointing at the two actors passionately kissing on stage.

"They are performing! This is art!" Jiang Yuhan said without hesitation.

"Then if you had to perform this part, would you be willing to kiss a male actor?"

"I… I… I would, of course!" Jiang Yuhan hesitated for a moment, then gritted her teeth and said, "This is sacrificing for art!"

"Remember what you said." Su Hao smiled, a triumphant look of a successful trick appearing on his face.

The next second, the actors left the stage, and Act Two of Midsummer Night's Dream ended.

"That scene just now, was it Act Two?" Jiang Yuhan also reacted at this moment.

"That's right, and it's the segment we're going to perform." Su Hao looked at Jiang Yuhan with a smile: "Vice President, you yourself said you're willing to sacrifice for art. You won't go back on your word now, will you?"

"Of course, I won't go back on my word, but… but…" Jiang Yuhan pointed at Li Shuxin: "But you also have to perform with Shuxin, and she might not agree?"

"Ah? What are you talking about?" Li Shuxin, who was engrossed in the stage play, turned her head in surprise when she heard someone call her.

"Shuxin, do you know that the kissing scene in Act Two just now is the part we're going to perform?" Jiang Yuhan hugged Li Shuxin's arm: "Let's talk to the professor later and ask him to cut the kissing part, okay?"

"But… I think the kiss is the core of that part." Li Shuxin frowned, her eyes filled with a hint of longing:

"The male and female leads naturally kiss when their emotions run deep, bringing their feelings to a climax. If you cut the kiss, the audience might be taken out of the experience.

And Senior Student Yuhan, don't you think the scene of the male and female leads kissing is incredibly beautiful? Coupled with such perfect lighting and music, it's simply too beautiful."

Li Shuxin finished speaking, her face already filled with rapture.

"Vice President, did you see? Shuxin is the one who truly loves stage plays." Su Hao's lips curved upwards; he had anticipated Li Shuxin would say this from the beginning.

"Alright, alright, I know what's on your mind! You scoundrel, I'll perform it later, that's all." Jiang Yuhan lowered her head, thinking about the scene of herself kissing Su Hao, and her ears turned red.

"This is your choice, I didn't force you." Su Hao had the air of someone who had gotten a good deal and was still playing innocent.

"I suddenly realized you're quite a jerk." Jiang Yuhan muttered, then swung her arm and elbowed Su Hao.

Jiang Yuhan didn't pay close attention to the rest of the stage play, as her mind kept drifting to other things.
