Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 - Inherited Blood

After a bombshell dropped inside the Round Table, Granger Ryoka found herself lost in so many thoughts that her mind could no longer process anything properly.

Until then, Hikari had been her best friend and a "normal" person among an exotic list of acquaintances. It never crossed her mind that she has someone so important to the Table, or that she had a direct link to Mordred Pendragon.

"They're still arguing…"

Even in one of the castle hallways, far from the main hall, it was still possible to hear intense shouting and protests from the other members.

Granger preferred to step away before getting caught in the crossfire, looking for Hikari, only to find out they were room neighbors.

As a precaution, Granger knocked on the door, but no one answered from inside. This caused a commotion in his heart, which ironically caused the doorknob to turn and open the door.

To her surprise, she came across a redhead girl turned upside down on the bed. The sheet had fallen to the side, while the body was sprawled across the mattress.

"Thank God, she's okay…"

A tear slid down from both eyes, and losing control of herself, Ryoka ran closer and hugged Hikari, woking her up.

"Ryoka…? Ryoka! You're okay!"

The poor girl didn't understand why her best friend was crying, much less how she ended up inside that room, but all that mattered was appeasing this tears.

"Why are you crying?"

"Because you didn't listen to me!" Ryoka lifted her face, showing a pair of red eyes. "Don't do that again… Please, listen to me next time…"

For a moment, words betrayed Hikari and fled from her mouth. She just squeezed the small body of Ryoka, who was trembling amidst the crying, even harder.

She even tried to adjust both hands so that they were in a less uncomfortable position, but this led to a small, mischievous hand brushing against a place it shouldn't.

"Ah, sorry, I was just… ehhh…"

Granger pouted, removing the head from Hikari's breasts.

"Idiot, you don't even know how to lift my mood." She putted the hands on her friend's face. "Go ahead."

Hikari hesitated, wanting to look away, but was unfortunately pulled back by the gravitational force on these beautiful lips .

Tilting her head, she kissed Ryoka. Time suddenly slowed down amidst the touch, with a strange sweet flavor reaching the tongue.

Temptation moved both palms to her buttocks, alternating between massaging and squeezing. While they were devouring one another, Ryoka finally separated, resting on the young woman's collar while sketching a small smile.

"So you like this, Hikari?"

"Ye-Yes… And you?"

"I… I don't mind, I want to feel good with you…"

Without waiting for any truce, Ryoka pushed Hikari onto the bed, pressing her body down so they could have a wonderful night together.

The day dawned, casting a weak light through the window. Aka was the first to wake up, rubbing her sleepy eyes and observing the rustic room.

The entire environment looked like a set from one of the medieval series she watched on TV, but extremely realistic. Turning the head to the side, she saw Ryoka lying there, mouth gently open and semi-nude.

The sight was so lovely that she felt like pulling back the sheet a bit to peek at the rest of the body, but contained the desire by giving a small kiss on the forehead, which served to wake her up.

"Good morning…" said Hikari. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yes, much better sleeping like this with you…"

The two remained in bed, exchanging caresses like old lovers who preferred to enjoy their alone time more than anything else.

Unfortunately, this sort of thing isn't exactly the best idea when living inside a castle, where servants might attend to you in the morning and find a truly strange scene.

They didn't even notice the door open, much less the shocked expression of the woman standing in the doorway, who, despite looking like a servant, didn't seem to want to simply leave and let them have their private moment.

In fact, what she was seeing seemed to offend her. She shouted:

"What is this!?"

The two jumped in fright. Ryoka covered her face with the sheet, while Hikari hid the breasts with her arms, blushing to the point of being mistaken for a tomato.

"Wh-Wh-Who are you?!?"

"Hikari?" She looked at the red-faced girl, and then ended up seeing the other one hiding. "Wait… What were you doing with Granger?"

"That is… Well… Never mind…"

"Daughter! You barely arrive here and you're already causing this commotion… You're lucky that the King is interested in both of you!"

"Why are you calling me daughter? Do I know you?!?"

"Huh, Hikari…" Ryoka pulled her by the arm. "She says that because she's your real mother…"

"What? But… Huh?"

The confusion on Hikari's face continued to make her brain melt. The servant, seeing this, sighed and rubbed her face.

"We'll talk about this later. Get dressed, they are calling both of you to the Round Table."

The woman with fervent eyes and unwavering posture left before commenting anything else, wanting to give the two privacy given how the scene reflected the previous night.

Hikari and her friend remained a little embarrassed after the servant saw them that way, but they still hurried to get dressed so as not to disappoint their hosts.

"Hey", Ryoka called out, elbowing her friend in the ribs. "Next time, remember you're not in your own house, alright?"

The redhead nodded, wanting to hide her face, which was the same color as the hair. Each one got dressed accordingly, luckily, their clothes weren't on the bed and didn't have any strange smell.

The servant outside didn't even look at them, walking through the corridors. Granger didn't need a guide, and with her near Hikari, they didn't need to worry about getting lost, but still, that woman led them to the Round Table.

Arriving there, they saw the King sitting on a large chair that was more similar to a throne. Mordred's eyes immediately fell on the new girl, analyzing her from head to toe.

Just that sent a chill down Hikari's spine, and she decided to hide behind her best friend for protection. This didn't offend the King, it had the opposite effect of increasing his curiosity.

"Since everyone is here, listen to me carefully. Today, I will recap the situation of the newcomers and also that of Camelot."
