Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 — The Monster

The meeting ended. The Advisor's grim words still clung to Loma's chest like chains.

Back in his room at the RDX hideout, he lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling.

For three long days, he rested. His wounds mended. His body recovered.

But his mind… his mind replayed one truth again and again.

I'm too weak… If I stay like this, I'll be crushed.

⚡ Three Days Later

Loma finally rises, strength returned. He picks up his jacket, determination flashing in his eyes.

Loma (quietly to himself):

"It's time."

As he walks through the hideout's halls, Xoza notices.

Xoza: "Heading out?"

Loma: "Yeah. I need to see someone."

Xoza: "…Take care of yourself, rookie."

Loma nods and leaves.

The House of a Legend

Hours of walking lead him to a quiet street. At the very end stands a modest house—nothing grand, nothing flashy.

But the air around it feels heavier, thicker… as though the walls themselves carry the weight of battles past.

Inside waits his brother—Darok.

They whisper about him across Ryukon:

The man who felled twenty monsters in human form.

The man whose fists never lost, never hesitated.

His name—spoken in respect. In fear.

Darok, "The Monster."

Loma pushes the door open.

Inside, Darok sits in the center of the room, dragging his knuckles across a steel bar. The sharp scrape of metal echoes like a predator sharpening its claws.

He doesn't even glance up.

Darok (low, calm, dangerous):

"…So, what brings you here, little brother?"

Loma steps forward, fists clenched. His voice doesn't shake.

Loma: "I… I want to train. I've been bullied, beaten, humiliated. I can't stay weak anymore. Tell me… how do I get stronger?"

For the first time, Darok raises his head. His gaze pierces Loma like a blade—calm, yet crushing.

Darok: "You want strength?"

Loma (firmly): "Yes."

Silence fills the room. It stretches, heavy, suffocating.

Then Darok smirks—slow, dangerous, amused.

Darok: "Strength, huh? Fine. I'll teach you… how to survive. How to fight. How to become more than human."

He rises to his full height, towering over Loma like a beast unchained. His aura expands, dark and suffocating, pressing down like the weight of a mountain.

Darok: "But listen carefully. This won't be easy. It'll take blood. Sweat. Years off your life. If you're not ready to endure hell—don't even start."

Loma swallows hard. His heartbeat pounds in his chest. But his eyes don't waver.

Loma: "I'm ready. Whatever it takes."

Darok chuckles, deep and dangerous, the sound vibrating through the walls.

Darok: "Good. Stay prepared. When I call you… that's when your nightmare begins."
