Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 – The Light

Xoza stepped forward, his presence cutting sharply through the chaos of the hideout. Every eye was drawn to him, but only one mattered—the Mighty Rome.

Rome (mocking): "Oi, rookie… you really think you have a chance?"

Xoza (resolute, eyes blazing): "I do. Today… Vamos and I will crush you—here and now."

The words hung in the air like thunder, sending a chill down even Rome's spine.

Rome (thinking, eyes narrowing): This kid… he has mental energy, but skill? That's another story.

A dark, oppressive aura radiated from Rome, stretching like a black hole through the entire hideout, swallowing everything in its path. Dust, light, even the trembling fighters seemed to be consumed by it. And yet, Xoza remained untouched—a shining, sharp light piercing the darkness, a beacon of defiance cutting across Rome's consuming shadow.

Rome (voice low, dangerous): "Don't think you could possibly stand a chance here."

Xoza (fierce, unyielding): "What makes you so confident? Stay down, Vamos. I'll make sure to beat this guy."

Xoza stepped closer, each movement precise, purposeful. The glowing light of his aura collided violently against Rome's consuming darkness, sparks of energy dancing where they met. The force was palpable, making the very air vibrate, sending shivers down Vamos's spine.

Vamos (desperate, trembling): "Idiot… you'll die there! You can't win! He's on another level… even I couldn't beat him! What makes you so full of yourself?"

For the first time, Vamos felt utterly helpless—frozen, unable to act, unable to protect himself. The clash of light and shadow swallowed the room, the battle between them promising devastation on a scale that no one present had ever witnessed.
