Chapter 72 - Chapter 72: Frost and Smoke Clash

Both Darok and Vamos locked eyes, staring into each other's souls with razor-sharp gazes.

Darok: "So you're the Ice Cold Vamos. Heard a lot about you."

Vamos: "Simply because I'm levels above."

Darok's lips curled into a grin as his body tensed, his aura surging like heavy smoke pressing down on everyone's shoulders, forcing weaker men to buckle.

Vamos' frost aura answered in kind, radiating outwards, a chilling blizzard that made the air sting with every breath.

The two auras collided, violently clashing and sending invisible shockwaves through the battlefield. Crimson Eclipse soldiers shivered as their spines froze; Fangs fighters clenched their teeth under the suffocating weight. It was like two storms colliding.

Darok didn't waste another second. He lunged forward, fist cocked, ready to unleash a jab.

Vamos' eyes sharpened. He read the movement, his counter-cross snapping forward with precision.

CRACK!

The cross landed clean—except Darok's jab had been a feint. In a blur, Darok seized Vamos' arm and slammed him onto the ground with a violent thud that rattled the earth beneath them.

Vamos tried to spring back up—

WHAM! Darok's straight punch hammered his face. Blood sprayed from Vamos' nose, painting the dirt red.

The cold warrior staggered but managed to force distance, his instincts pulling him back just in time.

Darok roared forward with a hook—

Vamos slipped outside, smooth as ice, answering with a sharp uppercut and a hook in quick succession.

THUD! THUD!

Darok caught the hook on his guard, his arm absorbing the impact like stone. Vamos immediately pulled back, not overextending.

Darok gritted his teeth, sweat dripping down his temple.

Darok (thinking): "I can't just rush him. He's good… too good."

Vamos stood tall, frost aura still crashing violently into Darok's smoke-heavy presence. The battlefield itself seemed to ripple under their clash, every soul trembling at the sheer collision of monsters.

And as they circled each other, eyes locked, it felt like the next strike could split the world apart.
