Chapter 106 - Chapter 261: The Goddess of the Moon Who Intends to Rebuild Her Familia

The unexpected arrival of Riveria and Loki left Aiz quite surprised.

Even Tiona, Tione, and Lefiya beside her were caught off guard.

However, seeing familiar faces appear before them, the four girls couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness.

At this moment, Yami chose not to intrude on their joyful reunion. He left Riveria and Loki to stay at the Navy Headquarters' training camp while he departed with the goddesses Artemis, Hephaestus, and Hestia.

Of course, he would let things unfold naturally.

In this new and unfamiliar world, everything seemed so alluring, especially to Artemis and Hestia, who had never been here before. Their faces were filled with curiosity and wonder.

"Orion... Yami-kun, you're such a fascinating child!" Artemis exclaimed. "You've mastered powers that not even the gods possess. It seems Oraunos and the others were right. The children of the lower world truly hold limitless possibilities!"

The sparkle in the eyes of the virgin goddess, Artemis, was unmistakable.

Her feelings for Yami had deepened. After all, Yami's increasing strength and potential made Artemis more and more delighted.

"You're exaggerating, Artemis-sama," Yami replied humbly. "I've just been luckier than other adventurers and have grown faster. But to compare myself to the gods? That's still far out of reach."

Although Yami spoke modestly, his words carried an undertone of ambition.

The three goddesses could clearly sense the hidden determination behind his words, and it stirred something within them. This unwavering confidence only made the young man in front of them more captivating.

"Yami-kun, can we enjoy our time in this world?" asked Hestia with a soft, eager voice. She was already itching to visit Fishman Island, hoping to find a potential recruit to take under her wing.

Yami understood Hestia's intentions and didn't refuse her request.

"Of course. You can use your divine power in this world, and it's highly unlikely you'll encounter any danger. The people here are truly remarkable," Yami explained. "Though, most of them have a few... quirks."

Recalling the eccentric personalities in the world of One Piece, Yami couldn't help but feel some reservations. If these peculiar characters were to end up in Orario, who knows what kind of chaos they might cause?

Suddenly, a thought crossed Yami's mind, and he turned to Artemis.

"By the way, Artemis-sama, are you thinking about rebuilding your Familia?"

"I don't have any suggestions for Hestia, but if it's you, I have a group of candidates who would be perfect! They're truly suited to join the Familia of the Goddess of the Hunt."

Artemis, who had been curiously observing the new world, froze for a moment. Yami's sincere suggestion sparked a wave of emotions within her.

Since she had already decided to settle in Orario in the future, re-establishing her Familia would be essential.

After all, gods who cannot use their divine power in Orario are even more vulnerable than humans.

Take Loki, for example.

Without access to her divine power, drinking too much and staying up late every night had already left her in a constant state of poor health. It was a harsh reality.

Gods in Orario who needed to eat, sleep, and live like mortals couldn't avoid the necessity of making a living.

While Artemis could provide for her Familia, she was a goddess focused solely on battle and lacked the skills necessary to survive in Orario's society. She certainly couldn't dive into the dungeon herself to hunt monsters. If she accidentally unleashed her divine power, the resulting catastrophe could summon an army of powerful monsters, leading to the deaths of countless adventurers. The punishment from the Guild would be astronomical.

She couldn't exactly follow Hestia's example and sell potato snacks, could she?

Realizing this, Artemis understood what she needed most at this moment.

"May I see them first?" Artemis asked, her voice thoughtful. "If they're truly suitable, I'll trust you, Yami-kun, and try to recruit them into my Familia."

Her words were direct, and their meaning wasn't lost on everyone. Hestia, however, seemed oblivious, while Hephaestus and Tsubaki exchanged knowing looks, amused by the situation.

Yami, meanwhile, remained composed. Despite the glint in his eyes, he maintained a calm demeanor, as though he hadn't caught the deeper implication behind Artemis's words.

"You can trust me, Artemis-sama. You'll love them."

"Then let's go now!" Artemis said eagerly. "Please don't resist—I'll take us there right away."

With a simple motion of Yami's hand, the power of space engulfed the group, and in an instant, they vanished from sight.

When they reappeared, the scenery had completely changed. The towering structures of Navy Headquarters were gone, replaced by lush, dense jungle. Tall trees stretched as far as the eye could see, their canopies nearly blotting out the sky.

From deep within the forest came the roars of unknown creatures, echoing throughout the area.

"This is the place I was talking about," Yami explained. "This is the island of women in this world—an island where only women live. Every woman here is a skilled warrior. It's very similar to the Amazons of Orario."

"I'm sure, Artemis-sama, you'll love it."

There wasn't much need for Yami to elaborate. The moment they arrived, Artemis instinctively extended her divine power over the island, sensing its inhabitants.

What she discovered was very much in line with Yami's description.

As Artemis felt the strength and power of the women on the island, her satisfaction grew.

These were ideal candidates for her Familia.

"I've seen enough. I'm already looking forward to meeting these children."
