Hearing those words from Natalie Vaughn, Zane Thorne chuckled softly. There was nothing to worry about, only his gaze always couldn't help but settle on her, and once she left, he wanted to follow.
However, the words coming out of his mouth weren't so tender.
"Afraid you'll stumble if your waist is sore and your legs are weak."
As expected, as soon as he spoke, Zane received an eye roll from Natalie.
"Just wait, once I recover, I'll definitely fight you."
Zane laughed lowly, his chest trembling, finding Natalie looking utterly amusing. His eyes were filled with endless affection and tenderness.
"Alright, I'm waiting."
Hearing Zane's tone, Natalie thought he was certain she couldn't beat him. She raised her head angrily, intending to argue, but instead met his deeply affectionate eyes.
