Theodore Langdon had barely exchanged a few words with Natalie Vaughn before he was practically pierced through by Zane Thorne's icy glances. He inwardly cursed himself for being so cowardly, yet his body instinctively feared Zane's gaze.
"Mr. Thorne, you're grilling again? It smells so good! I want some!"
Zane shot him a glance.
"Scram."
Natalie, hearing this, swiftly pocketed the two tickets and went over to Zane, reaching out to take the lamb leg from his hand.
Just inches away, she was about to grab it, but the man suddenly moved his hand, and the lamb leg slipped from her grasp.
Natalie looked up at Zane in confusion.
Zane saw her swallowing with desire, thought it was cute, but frowned with a stern expression.
"It's so hot, do you not want your mouth anymore?"
She had been whispering with Theodore earlier and now was eyeing his lamb leg. Couldn't she have a little more room in her heart for him?
