"Old man, I recently read a book that says the Daoist School believes in ghosts and gods. Do you believe in them?"

"I believe in extraterrestrials more than ghosts and gods," the old man laughed.

"That depends on how people imagine them. Ghosts and extraterrestrials are just extensions of human nature. When people assign human emotions to an unknown object and use human knowledge to understand it, ghosts and extraterrestrials are merely terms," said the old man.
