"Hey, what are you doing?" Melody Thorne's heart skipped a beat as she cried out in shock. Jared Quinn had already carried her into the bedroom and placed her on the glass table in front of him.
His tall and sturdy body leaned forward, hands propped on either side of her, as if trying to see right through her. Especially after what she did today at the Adler Family's place, he found the woman before him to be much more complex than she appeared. At the very least, she had brains and cunning.
"Hey, don't get so close to me." Melody Thorne's hands planted in between them, fearing any contact with Jared Quinn, and she leaned back instinctively.
Yet, Jared Quinn's large hand moved to her waist, pulling her forward until their bodies were pressed tightly against each other, an ambiguous entanglement.
"Tell me, are you planning something?" Jared Quinn's lips were almost touching hers, the barely noticeable masculine scent causing Melody Thorne to shiver.
