"Mr. Quinn, this woman must apologize to my daughter," Terence Thorne approached, "My daughter has always been gentle, and today I must stand up for her."

"Hit someone?" Jared Quinn's eyes turned chilly as he glanced towards Melody Thorne, the deep darkness in his gaze spread like ink, making it impossible to determine whether the man was about to erupt in anger or if he was merely asking casually.

But everyone in the hall laughed, because based on past experiences, Melody Thorne would definitely be dragged out by security and thrown outside.

"Hmm..." Melody Thorne's small mouth tilted slightly, her head cocked to one side, her clean and pure gaze like a little girl oblivious to the world, she shrugged her hands, "No, I didn't."

No? That word almost made Ellie Thorne spit blood, nearly ruining her ladylike image as she yelled furiously—not her doing, then where did the fingerprints on her face come from?
