Melody Thorne kicked it out of the stall, and the "meow" was particularly loud. The cat rolled to the feet of two women.
"Ah, it's a cat, a cat!" one of the women screamed. "Quick... run!"
"What are you afraid of?" the other woman sneered, kicked the cat away from her feet, and put away the gun in her hand. She looked at the half-open stall, from where they could see almost half of the space, but saw no one inside.
"Let's go."
The footsteps of the two women gradually faded away. Melody Thorne felt like she had just survived a disaster. After getting out of the stall, she splashed some cold water on her face and quickly left.
"Where have you been?" Nina King had been looking for her for ages. "The director inside already agreed to the investment from Melody Thorne for that play. They also let a few newcomers from their company join the cast as supporting characters, just below the third and fourth lead roles. That's already quite good; they have a high presence on screen."
