"Did you call me all the way here just to see these eyes that are the same as your brother's?" Jin took the initiative to steer the conversation.
"Oh? You guessed my identity?" A flicker of surprise passed through Madara's remaining left eye, and his curiosity about Jin deepened another notch.
"An old man with the Sharingan hiding out in a place like this... And since Konoha's founding, there hasn't been a single Missing-Nin from the Uchiha Clan. Coupled with estimating your age based on appearance..." Jin, as if channeling his inner Detective, analyzed before narrowing his eyes and saying seriously, "As hard as it is to believe, there's only one conclusion: Uchiha Madara. The only Uchiha Clan's Missing-Nin in history so far."
After listening to this, the elderly Madara's lips curled slightly upwards.
"Heh, good kid. Sharp eyes."
"But to be honest, I almost wish you were a bit dumber," The elderly Madara sighed.
After all, if he's too smart, he'll be hard to deceive.
"Get to the point. What does an old fossil like you, who survived the battle against the First Hokage at the Valley of the End, want with me?" Jin showed no intention of being polite, directly sitting down on a large water pipe nearby.
"Life in Konoha Village doesn't seem to treat you well. Having awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, Tobirama's disciples must be very wary of you, right?" The elderly Madara still didn't rush to the main topic, instead starting to make small talk like an ordinary old man.
[Hashirama: Madara has really changed a lot. He would never sit and chat so calmly like this before.]
[Tobirama: Hmph! He's definitely brewing some shady scheme!]
[Izuna: @Tobirama, Are the things you did any more presentable? I think your four disciples learned their despicable ways from you!]
…
"It seems the entire Konoha Village is under your surveillance," Jin glanced at the row of White Zetsu hanging below the Gedo Statue.
"There's no need for White Zetsu's surveillance. It can be inferred just from the personalities of the current Hokage and his aides," The elderly Madara said slowly.
"Right now, because of Mito's presence, you can still act recklessly. But I doubt she has much longer to live."
"Even though you're all part of Konoha, you fight amongst yourselves. Hashirama's dream that the era of Ninja Villages would bring happiness to everyone was, in the end, just an empty talk."
Hearing this, Hashirama in the chat room felt a pang of discomfort.
"However, I have found a way!" Suddenly, the elderly Madara's tone became excited, his voice rising significantly as he shouted, "A world without conflict! A world filled only with love! A world where everyone can find happiness!"
Izuna in the chat room blinked his eyes.
After all, this didn't match the image of his elder brother from when he was alive at all.
"Alright, alright, stop, stop," Jin raised a hand in a stopping gesture, playing dumb, "I don't know what you want to do, and I don't want to know."
"But I can roughly guess you want me to work for you, right?"
"Sorry, but I'm perfectly happy right now. I have zero interest in your so-called perfect world."
The elderly Madara's tone lowered, his single left eye narrowing, "You don't understand now, but one day, you will. Reality is hell."
As soon as these words were spoken, a startling killing intent erupted from Jin's body.
Because in the original work, it was after Madara said this that he successfully trapped Obito to his doom.
Sensing the shift in Jin's aura, both Madara and White Zetsu's expressions changed dramatically.
'What's going on? Why did this kid suddenly release such an exaggerated killing intent?'
Jin said coldly, "You hate Senju Tobirama because he killed your brother. But in my eyes, you're very similar to him. Both adept at schemes and plots."
"I've already said I'm not interested in what you want to do."
"But if you try to force my hand with some underhanded trick, that will be your biggest mistake."
Jin continued with a smile, "There aren't many things in this world that can shake me. Right now, I think it's just Tsunade and Konan. You're not planning to target them, are you?"
The elderly Madara's gaze darkened. He inwardly sighed again at how frighteningly smart Jin was.
"Then let me make this clear right now. If anything happens to them, whether it's your doing or not, I'll hold you responsible." The Mangekyo Sharingan's pattern, which is identical to Izuna's, slowly spun in Jin's eyes.
"So? Let's make an agreement. I won't interfere with whatever you're planning, and you don't bother me or my people. Non-interference. How about it?"
Madara's transplanted left Sharingan stared directly into Jin's.
The two stared each other down in this highly tense atmosphere for over half a minute.
'This kid is hard to control,' The elderly Madara shook his head inwardly.
'As expected, I still need to find someone simpler, someone easier to deceive.'
