Tang Hao remained silent, the fire in his heart raging.
"And what do you need that for?" he asked coldly.
Unaware of the danger, Yu Xiaogang continued,"Zhou Sidong ruined my life. I need to prove myself. If you tell me how Blue Silver Grass evolves, I can write a perfect theory and publish it. Then I can turn things around! And the secret of twin martial souls—please tell me that too!"
Tang Hao slowly shook his head.
"No."
Two words—shattering Yu Xiaogang's last hope.
"Why?! Tang Hao, why are you doing this to me?!"
Yu Xiaogang nearly struggled upright, pain contorting his face.
"You brought this on yourself!" Tang Hao snapped."I have no love for Zhou Sidong—I'd even kill him if I could. But your actions are so despicable that even I, an outsider, can't stand them. As a member of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, you publicly cursed your family—unfilial. You schemed against others when they were children—shameless. You tricked Dai Mubai and the others into absorbing decades-old soul bones while claiming they were thousand-year ones—dishonest."
He showed no mercy.
"No! None of that is true!" Yu Xiaogang screamed hoarsely."It's all lies! All fabricated! Zhou Sidong—he ruined me! It was him!"
"Hmph."
Tang Hao snorted."Justice lives in people's hearts. You know exactly what you did. Don't think I don't see through your schemes. Give it up."
A thunderbolt seemed to explode in Yu Xiaogang's mind. He collapsed back onto the bed, tears streaming down his face.
"Xiao Gang…" Liu Erlong's heart ached, but she dared not argue. The man before her was Tang Hao—someone Shrek could never afford to offend.
"I came to inform you," Tang Hao said coldly,"from today on, Xiao San is no longer your disciple, and you are no longer his teacher."
If not for Yu Xiaogang's crippled state and his years of caring for Tang San, Tang Hao would have settled the score far more thoroughly.
"You… what did you say?" Yu Xiaogang wailed, disbelieving.
"I said—from this day forward, you are no longer my son's teacher. My son will never acknowledge you again."
Tang Hao repeated it.
In that instant, Yu Xiaogang's heart shattered.
"No! You can't! Tang Hao—you can't do this!"
He broke down, dragging his broken body to Tang Hao's feet, begging for forgiveness.
Tang Hao didn't spare him a glance. He had seen through Yu Xiaogang completely—Tang San was nothing more than a tool for self-validation in his eyes.
"My decision is final."
At that moment, Tang San arrived.
Seeing his teacher clutching his father's leg, Tang San understood everything.
"Xiao San! You're here—quick, persuade your father! Teacher can't live without you!"
Yu Xiaogang begged in a pitiful voice.
Tang San wavered—his heart softened.
Then Tang Hao spoke:"Xiao San, don't forget how Xiao Wu was injured."
Tang San's expression hardened instantly.
